Umbrella is very lightweight will not latch into opened position
While this fabric is printed with a cute print, the umbrella is not sturdy and not very functional. Maybe I received a bad one. The first thing noted is there is not a button on the handle to press to telescopically open it. The metal rod is very lightweight and would not withstand much force, looks easy to bend. But, sadly, the biggest note was that it did not want to latch into the open position. It also does not want to close all the way. The umbrella arrived with a cute little outer bag in the pretty print, which would be a plus but the umbrella, since it will not close fully, will not become slim/compact enough to fit back into the bag. On the plus side, the print is pretty, the waterproofing seems really good, and if you need an umbrella that is very, very lightweight because of weight limitations in luggage, then this could be a good option. It weighs less than 12 ounces.

This is a beautiful umbrella, and it works real well

Lots of coverage but not easy to carry
When I ordered this item, I didn't take notice of the strap attached to the end. The strap is very small; it's only good for hanging the umbrella from a hook. With every other umbrella I've owned, the strap was long enough that I could slip it over my wrist and I could "wear" the umbrella (when not in use) instead of having to hold/carry it. I thought that was a standard feature in umbrellas, so I didn't think to check that before I ordered it.

Nice but not push-button open/close as one ad image indicates
I missed the two spots that say this is manual open and only saw the image that says there is a button to open and close it. So I give it 3 stars because of misleading advertising and not having a feature I really wanted. I did take a screenshot of the ad but have not posted here in case it goes against community guidelines.

Pretty
Does not close sleek. I have to pull the strap tight to get it to wrap all the way around it, and it will not fit back in the carry pouch once opened. The handle strap also came off after a couple weeks. However, it's strong material and the inside pattern is very pretty.
