Nothing Like the Movies: fall back in love with dream romance in this instant...

Wes and Liz are genuinely one of my favourite book couples. I Was really pissed at the start when I found out they weren’t together but it made sense for them to be where they were at by the end of the book to make them that much stronger as a couple and individually. Don’t even get me started on the king of yearning Wes Bennett, this book will hook you in!

A sweet, light-hearted rom-com that hits all the right notes. Lynn Painter’s writing is witty and engaging, and the characters feel relatable. While the story does lean into some familiar tropes, it’s done with charm and humor. A great weekend read if you enjoy contemporary romance with a feel-good vibe.

As I have just gotten this book, I would like to say my first impressions of it. -It came without any bends or folds, and the book was not battered from mailing. -The cover is durable and will not fold very easily. I have highly anticipated this book after reading Better Than The movies, a really cute romance book. Set in College, Wes schemes to use his knowledge of Liz's standards to exceed them and try and get her back! Liz has started college and is optimistic about her future. I am yet to find out what happens and I hope you invest in these books!

Not as good as the first one

Liz and Wes will always be one of my all time favourite couples. I loved them in Better than the movies and I fell in love with them even harder after finishing Nothing Like the Movies. This book utterly broke my heart. The two of them breaking up broke me, finding out the reasonings behind them breaking up, broke me. But seeing how determined Wes was to get her back had my heart soaring. These two are meant to be together in every dimension. I laughed, I cried and I had the best time reading this story! I loved this story in a different way to Better Than the Movies, that story was about young high school love and falling in love for the first time. This one is about growing up and going through challenges and time and getting through them and becoming a better person whilst also rediscovering love. These two work through so much and they come out on top.

Great book

When I found out that in the second book of Liz and Wes they showed as a couple of exes who are trying to step over the pain of the past to be happy together again, I was a little disappointed. How could a sweet end “better than the movies” turn into a sad story and almost not showing it (only through memories in dialogs). But further according to the book, I understood how much this story has a greater and deeper meaning in their love. Because despite how young they are, they have already overcome great difficulties that only strengthened their relationship. And it's beautiful to see how strong their bond became. Plus, I, as a person who in my head represents the scenes of books as from a third person (as if watching a film, not through relive characters life) The last “closing” scene after the epilogue was magnificent. This really gave me the same beautiful * FADE OUT * to me that I saw the credits in my head.. Perfect picture in my head, thank you

The side characters in this make this book so much fun. I love that there is something going on with a few of them. I would love too know more about what is going on with them.

Oh my goodness! The book's really good and def worth for this price, I purchase a lot of books from CocoBlu and I can assure you their quality is realllyy pretty and worth every single penny! It's not pirated, has no misprints or cover issues and as a collector, I know how bad it feels to have pirated copies of your fav books whose pages come out everytime while reading BUT, This one is not at all pirated, and I love Lynn Painter so this book is a go-to buy from me! Check it out asap!

Tenga esa depresión lectora que da después de leer un libro que te consumió en cuerpo y alma. La historia de Liz y Wes es tan bonita, desde el primer libro Better than the movies me enamore de ellos y en este solo confirmo que Wes es el prototipo del novio adolescente que a todos nos habría gustado tener. Me duele despedirme de ellos, por que quiero saber mas de su vida juntos, de sus aventuras, en fin, quiero consumirme nuevamente en su historia. De mientras puedo decirles que esta es la novela romántica juvenil perfecta, haciendo check en todas las casillas de los requisitos que una comedia romántica debe de cumplir y dejandote con el corazon bien llenito.
