Black Rubber Body Savers (6) for Traxxas X-Maxx XMAXX

These are really needed as others have stated. Keeps the body bolts from pulling through. Good product, but a little pricey for what they are.

Even though the new Xmaxx 8S’s AWESOME colored bodies come with plastic washers now. I still use these rubber washers for at least the 2 back screws. Not directly under the screw. I put the screw through the plastic then through the rubber washer and then screw it to the body. Hope that made sense. Combined with some stainless screws, and tightening just past snug, it allows a little big give, preventing the body from breaking. This is a must have for the Xmaxx.One start taken off because this kit only comes with 6 pieces, but 8 are needed. Seems like a cheap trick to make you buy more. It should come with the exact amount you need.

A definite must for the X-Maxx is yoy plan on "lidding" it and bashing to its full potential. The stock top body screws are a notable weakness to this otherwise very rugged platform. These rubber washers not only consume the space of the previously ripped out body hole mounting points; but also appear to provide anti-shock and vibration qualities due to their rubber composition. Very similar to rubber bushings on a shock absorber mount.

I can't believe Traxxas hasn't implemented some kind of washer design of their own by now. 3 of the body mounts on mine pulled through the first time I used it. I wasn't even doing anything crazy either.

Little smaller than what i expected. You're better off just going to the hardware store and buying a pack of small stainless metal washers !
