This is a very good product to regulate PCOS and along with regular exercises and proper food, this works wonders. In market, available berberine herbal capsules or tablets are not clean label, thirtd party lab tested or pure.. On chat gpay, I found suggestion to use folious berberine.. All lopsomal berberine capsules are not genuine.. So many fake lipsomal products are available. All brands are not made u der lipsomal technique. All labs are not lipsomal enabled.. Be awre..

Bought this as a fill-in when my order from my regular supplier was delayed.

This is the third 500 mg per capsule berberine supplement I have tried within the last year. The serving sizes for the two earlier ones were 1 capsule and 2 capsules. The serving size for this one is 3 capsules, justifying this as “ultra high strength” berberine. I have however noted a discrepancy regarding serving size. The pictures on the product page indicate a serving size of 2 capsules whereas the container states 3. I have verified that the container has 120 capsules. So, at 3 capsules a day, this is a 40 day supply, not “2 Months Supply” as shown in a picture on the product page. This product is manufactured in India by Granen Botanicals PVT, LTD. The physical addresses of the manufacturer and USA distributor (Folius Labs) are provided on the container. The berberine is 97% pure and comes from wildcrafted Indian berberine roots. The capsules contain only berberine, there are no “other ingredients.” The color of the powder is bright yellow as it should be. The bottle label indicates that this product should be used within 3 years of manufacture. The manufacturing date (08/23), the expiration date (07/26), and the lot number are printed on the bottom of the container. It is a good sign that test results (microbiological and heavy metals) are posted. In my opinion, this is a good quality berberine supplement at a reasonable price.

I appreciate this brand's commitment to purity (in a world of very impure supplements) and so I decided to try their Berberine sample. This is a pack of 21 capsules, which they claim to be a one week supply. The capsules come in little plastic-lined pouches. Recently, I received capsules in a pouch from a known wellness brand (Adapt Naturals) that was compostable and I would prefer that to these plastic pouches. For a brand whose primary focus is purity, I'd recommend switching away from plastic for reasons of health and the environment. That said, I appreciate that Folius gives the option of a sample pack. Many people are not will try to a 30 day supply of a new supplement. My current Berberine has a recommended dose of 400mg in 2 capsules daily. This Berberine has a recommended dose of 1,500mg in 3 capsules daily. I'm just going to take one per day. These supplements are made in India. I do prefer my supplements are made in America but, again, because of their commitment to no excipients or anything artificial and to releasing their purity tests, I decided to give them a try.

What I like about this berberine capsule supplement: It was easy to swallow and left no aftertaste. The supplement was sealed for tampering protection. Since you take 2 or 3 capsules daily this is a 7 to 10 day sample. They list an expiration date on the side of the bag which is helpful. The bag does not allow absorption of light which protects the capsule's integrity from light degradation. The product is GMO free, sugar free, no excipients, additives, preservatives, artificial colors or flavors. It’s all natural, which is what I prefer in my supplements. I use berberine for its health benefits. FDA does not regulate any non prescription items, so they can claim anything they want to without any evidence the product does as it claims. This company adds the FDA disclosure on their products labeling which I professionally respect. There’s no way to measure in a normal house hold setting the efficacy of supplements: So Do your own due diligence on herb research to see which one is best for you. What I dislike about this Berberine Capsule supplement: Nothing

This berberine looks good. It’s a product of India, and the only ingredient other than berberine is the vegetable capsule. The capsules are packaged in an aluminium jar with a screw lid, which is convenient, and look uniform. There was a small bit of the interior powder on the inside of the seal after I removed it, but all of the capsules look to be closed, so it was probably an artefact of the production/packaging process. The distributor is a U.S. company, and the manufacturer is an Indian company, with both addresses on the jar. There is, however, a labelling inconsistency. The jar says it contains 120 capsules, but the nutrition label lists the serving size as 3 capsules, and the number of servings as 30. I haven’t counted the capsules, but if there are indeed 120, then it’s either 40 servings or the serving size is 4 capsules. The date of manufacture is listed on the bottom of the jar, and the one I received was manufactured within the last seven months. It lasts for three years, so the expiry date is more than two years away. Overall, this looks like a good berberine supplement, and I can recommend it.
