This did take some time to put together. Good instructions and really wasn't too terrible but it is definitely a project. But overall it was a super great buy. Looks beautiful and it's quite sturdy. Very happy with it. I chose to paint mine before putting it together, which works great as long as you know which pieces are which because there are markings on them so you know that you have the right size. I actually did the second coat of paint after I put it together, which was much more difficult because of the height. I would recommend painting or staining it in some way to keep it looking nice longer.

Excellent product! Two of us put it together in one day. I recommend at least 3 people if you’re less experienced. We poured concrete footings about a week before the product arrived! Biggest draw back was the layout drawings wasn’t very good there was a lot of guess work on where to put the concrete footings but we allowed extra room.

I'm currently assembling this, waiting on a second set of hands to put it up. The cedar wood is lightweight and stained a nice color. The one issue with my set is that there were no pre-drilled holes. The rounded rafters at the top are three pieces each and are screwed together and you will need to make sure that they are pretty much identical, so you'll likely need to identify where you need to pre-drill some holes or make sure you are able to screw every rafter piece in the same location. The packaging consisted of three boxes that were easy to unpack and organize. I'm always skeptical about ordering Chinese products that need assembly from Amazon due to my experience with missing pieces or wrong pieces. The kit was a missing a couple of bolts but nothing major that couldn't be picked up at a local hardware store.

I’m very happy with the Yardenaler 12x16 ft wooden pergola! The cedar wood looks beautiful and feels solid and well-crafted. Overall looks great, few little pieces got broken during delivery. One more person and I assembled the pergola in 7 hours. Ideally need three people. Looks great on my patio.

I purchased this pergola because I was looking for a structure with a substantial, heavy-duty appearance. After assembly, I found that the frame members were lighter and less robust than I expected based on the product images. The pergola is functional, but its overall appearance and perceived sturdiness did not meet my expectations. Buyers who are specifically seeking a pergola with larger, more substantial structural components may want to review all product photos and specifications carefully before purchasing. there is a clear difference in what is advertised and what is received! My disappointment stems from the difference between the appearance I expected and the appearance of the assembled pergola. If structural aesthetics and a heavy-duty look are important to you, this may not be the best fit.

We love our pergola. We’ve had it for quite a few months and it’s help up so beautifully. My husband , son and myself put it together after work so it took us two evenings to finish.So sturdy and had all parts. It’s definitely part of my evenings every day. This pergola put the exact charm I needed for my outdoor space. (I put a before picture, so plain)

My husband assembled this himself within a couple hours. Will need two people when you first start the trusts. It was easy to assemble and we are happy with it. Adds the perfect touch to our deck/pool area. My husband was a little skeptical on quality of wood with it being lighter than we expected but the pillers are heavy duty and it has been holding up nicely. Would buy again
