I wish I could give this game more than just 5 stars~! It's absolutely incredible; it's SO well-made, and so much fun, and such an engaging story ~!! AND so much to discover! Battles can be a little challenging at times (I'm no good at fighting in games; usually I stick to Harvest Moon style games, ACNH / ACPC that kind of thing) but it's turn-based combat, so mostly you have some time to think through your moves. Top all that off with beautiful 8-bit graphics and you have a FANTASTIC game. Highly recommend.

If you're into indie RPGs or just want something cozy, check it out! 🌟 Got this as a gift for my fiancé and I ended up loving it so much, considering getting my own copy! Definitely worth the money and time to play!

This is a great throwback to all the old school RPG's from years ago. This game is so nostalgic, I immediately fell in love with it. The play style, the art/graphics, the story, dialog, everything reminds me of the retro golden age, and my childhood. Seem's like it's been a very long time since a game made me this excited and happy. The inspirations for this game seem to come from everything like Zelda, to Breath of Fire, Chrono Cross, Chrono Trigger, Phantasy Star, Final Fantasy Tactics, you pretty much name it. But it's still its own game, with some nice "modern" updates and twists. All the old great nostalgia is there, but has enough new things to make it unique, enjoyable and fresh. I love the art style. So vibrant and just beautiful. You can do anything in this game, but I love the exploring and fishing, by far. It is so satisfying it's not even funny. Time fly's when I play this game, to the point I actually have to set an alarm for myself, so I don't play all day (especially on the weekends). The combat is great. It's fun, and so far, has not become boring or tedious like some games. Even in combat you have a lot of options; the timed hits are fun, combos are engaging, different damage types, there is always something to keep you interested. This is just one of those games that you have to try for yourself to really understand everything that is so great about it. If you are an "older gamer" like me, you will love and appreciate everything about this game. My nieces and nephews are infatuated with this game. I got a copy for each system, so we all get to play, and they all love it. They are so excited. Some love to explore, one loved to collect items and cook, another loves to fish. There is literally everything in this game to satisfy anyone. Enough fanboying, I really hope this helps anyone interested in this game.

My husband and I love this game. Story isn't anything mind-blowing, but it's fun and engaging. The characters are sweet and the comedic bits had me thinking about them for days. We play 2-person couch/local co-op, but this can actually have up to 3 players! Player 3 might feel a bit left out in the beginning, but they get to have all the fun towards the middle/end of the story LOL Love the rhythmic combat, music composition, and the art. Great game if you're looking for a couch RPG that isn't too demanding

amazing games. really feels like a SNES classic. there is a special hall dedicated to those that helped crowd fund the game.

Honestly a really good game, not for me, but good. I feel like some of the acolytes were a little over blown. Highly reccomend if you are jnto turn based games though.

Amazing game. If you ever played and enjoyed chrono trigger this is a must buy! The art, music, story and combat are top notch and will bring you back to that golden age of rpgs

Decided to give this game a try because it was from the same studio that made the messenger and because heard good things about it. This game is amazing and could go on about it all day long, and i do to my wife and kids, telling them that they need to play this game.Would highly recommend picking it up.

Si eres amante de los RPGs con una historia excelente, con dinámicas de juego bastante interesantes, y con un set de personajes muy bien desarrollados, este es tu juego. Ahora entiendo la insistencia de muchos en compararlo con Chrono Trigger... es un digno sucesor espiritual (por lo menos hasta que Square Enix decida hacer un digno remake de su mejor RPG). Si estás leyendo esto, si, tómalo como una señal de que vale 100% la pena comprar y jugar este juego. No le doy más de 5 estrellas porque no es posible, y de serlo, hasta 10 estrellas le daría.
