Keeps flang dryer and helps it last longer
Works great keeps bag and flang dry and it helps it last several longer

Does not have a rubber seal. Allows water to get between skin and cover.
Bought this to cover Hollister 2 piece ostomy system so I could take showers. Even though I do not allow water directly at the cover, water comes from above the cover and under. This makes my wafer totally wet under the cover, which weakens the sticky part attached to my belly. No rubber gasket, just a plastic bowl with no way to keep water from penetrating under the bowl. Waste of money as it does not seal in any way. Only protects spray but not water penetration from above it.

Shields Your Pouch from Getting Wet
Can't imagine taking showers without such a device. It does keep the water off your ostomy bag, but the strap needs to be tightened frequently to keep all the water off.

Fitment sucks
Har to get around where stoma is belt had o inch of adjustment out. 90 cm just not enough. If there were longer belts. Maybe I would continue to use . So if you waist is more than 35 inches don’t waste your money.

I could swim in the Ocean again !!!
I finally came across this after living with a "temporary" colostomy bag for a number of years,. Its simple but, it made a big difference. It can be cinched in tight - these connectors are sturdy, stable and strong. I was able to go to the beach without a shirt and swim in the Ocean - in the waves - without worrying if "it was going to fall off". It gives things a "Medical Appearance" rather than looking like a visable poop balloon,. Highly Recomend this for beach use !

Cup holds everything in place well/water tight
Good value for the price. I especially like the fact that the belt is rubber and does not absorb moister. It also means that the belt does not easily slip when in place on my skin during a shower. The wide connections on each side of the cup hold everything in place well and water tight for me. I found this important on my first usage due to some discharge (from my ileostomy during my shower) which did not leak out. Thankfully I carefully checked it before finishing my shower.
