AAA Rechargeable Batteries 8 Pack, 1100mAh 1.2V NiMH Batteries

Most of our house now runs on rechargeable AA batteries, so it was only a matter of time before I finally bit the bullet and did the same for AAA batteries — mainly for remote controls and, more importantly, a selection of Christmas toys my daughter received. Real-world use These Bonai AAA Ni-MH rechargeables (1.2V, 1100mAh) have slotted straight into everyday use without any issues. Although rechargeable batteries run at 1.2V rather than the 1.5V of standard alkalines, I’ve never noticed any problems in real use — remotes work as expected, and toys run perfectly normally. Charging & setup The batteries arrive pre-charged, which is useful, but I’ve always made a habit of putting them straight into the charger and topping them up to 100% before first use. I can’t say for certain whether this improves longevity, but it’s something I’ve done from day one and performance has been consistent. As with most Ni-MH batteries, they seem to settle in nicely after a few charge cycles and then deliver dependable, predictable power. Practical benefits For devices that get used regularly — toys, remotes, handheld gadgets — these are far more convenient than constantly swapping disposables. They’ve removed the irritation of flat batteries at the wrong moment, particularly with children’s toys that tend to get heavy bursts of use. Warranty A nice extra is the three-year warranty, which is activated by contacting the email address provided in the packaging. It’s reassuring to see that level of backing on rechargeable batteries, especially when you’re planning to use them long-term. Overall These have proven to be a sensible, reliable upgrade for all the smaller devices around the house. They work exactly as you’d expect, save money over time, and cut down on waste — without any noticeable compromises in everyday use.

Absolutely impressed with the performance of these BONAI AAA Rechargeable Batteries! The pack of 16 batteries provides an excellent value for money. The pre-charged feature is a game-changer - I could use them right out of the box. These batteries hold a solid charge and have a high capacity of 1100mAh, ensuring my devices last longer between charges. The convenience of having a large pack means I always have spares available whenever needed. I've used them in various devices, from remote controls to kids' toys, and they perform flawlessly. The Ni-MH technology seems to maintain the charge well, even after multiple recharges. Not only do they save money in the long run, but they are also environmentally friendly by reducing the waste from disposable batteries. Overall, highly recommended for anyone seeking reliable, long-lasting rechargeable batteries! Warm Reminder: Batteries need to be fully charged with electricity before the first use. It's highly recommended to fully charge the batteries every three months if you don't use them. 1.2V battery is suitable for general 1.2V devices and some 1.5V devices. Not suitable for 1.5V-rated devices. This is related to the specific voltage of the device.

Having used the AAA Rechargeable Batteries High‑Capacity Pre‑Charged 8‑Pack from purchase through multiple household devices, here’s a detailed review from my experience as someone who regularly relies on tech (and knows the irritation when small things go wrong): ✅ What works well • They arrive pre-charged, so you can pop them into remote controls, wireless mice, or other standby devices right away. No waiting around. • For low-drain items (TV remote, wireless keyboard/mouse, smaller gadgets) they’ve held power very well — I’ve left some installed for a few weeks with no noticeable drop. • Good value for money: instead of repeatedly buying disposables, switching to rechargables like these makes sense, especially for home/office gadgets. • From broader industry info: rechargeable AAA batteries with high capacity (1000 mAh+) are increasingly competitive and give solid value for typical home use. ⚠️ Some caveats & things to know • If you’re powering high-drain devices (e.g., high output flash, high-end toys, certain wireless gear) then the “AAA rechargeable” class can still hit limits sooner than high-capacity AA or specialist battery types. According to experts, the biggest gains tend to come in AA size or specialist cells. • Rechargeables inherently have a slightly lower nominal voltage (1.2 V) compared to standard alkaline disposables (1.5 V). Most devices will still run fine, but if the device is very sensitive it may perform a bit differently. • To get the lifespan and capacity benefits, you’ll still want a smart NiMH compatible charger, avoid mixing brands/capacities, and maintain good battery “housekeeping” (i.e., charge regularly, avoid extreme drain). Some general battery-guidance sites mention this for best results. size and capacity questionable. 🎯 My verdict As someone juggling tech, productivity gear, home office setups (and as a content creator who’s fed up with replacing little batteries all the time) — these do the job. They minimise fuss, minimise waste, and give decent performance without being premium specialist cells. Would I give them a strong recommendation? Yes — if you’re looking for: • A reliable rechargable AAA pack for everyday equipment (remotes, mice, small peripherals) • Good value when you use a lot of small batteries around your workspace/home • A switch from disposables to rechargables without needing to invest in ultra-premium battery tech Would I suggest them for the absolute “power user” or high-drain scenario? Not quite the top tier — if your device is very demanding or you need the longest possible lifespan, you might look at specialist high-capacity rechargeables (AAA or AA) with higher cycle claims and better performance in that role. But for the workspace/home gear I use — they’re solid. 🔧 Tips to get the most from them • Use a good charger designed for NiMH (avoiding cheap “timer only” chargers) so you don’t degrade performance. • If a device isn’t particularly energy-hungry, top these up and forgotten about them — they’ll hold charge better if not deeply drained constantly. • Store unused batteries in a cool dry place, and rotate use if you have many devices. • For critical small devices (camera gear, high-drain remote gear, outdoor sensors) consider keeping one pack of premium high-capacity cells as backup. In short: for home/office size and capacity daily tech use, these batteries hit the sweet spot between cost, convenience and performance. They’re not over-hyped, but they deliver. If you decide to reuse them across your workspace gear (mice, trackpads, remotes, gadgets) you’ll likely feel the benefit.

all good

These batteries are working as I would expect. I brought these batteries to replace my old rechargeable batteries that have definitely come to an end. They simply dont last long in my basic wall clock which seems to suck the life out of batteries quickly. The batteries came almost fully charged so I put them in my charger to top them up before using. I have put these batteries into my TV remote controls and the wall clock and to date the batterries are holding their charge well. My old ones would have long died now.

This is an update to my original review. Following posting, I was immediately contacted by the seller. They were very professional. They heard my original concern and provided an explanation that they did not transport their batteries in bulk, fully charged due to travel controls. They also confirmed that for some few packets of batteries which inadvertently ended up in subsequent longer term warehouse storage pending sale, may arrive without charge. However they also confirmed it was within the parameters of storage arrangements and that once charged the batteries would not be adversely impacted by the process. I still have the originals and they are performing very well. Although I was initially irritated I am very pleased with their customer service and I have no reason to doubt there explanation. They also immediately offered a replacement or alternative. I am really impressed with the speed of their customer focussed response. They have not asked me to reconsider my review, but I think important to share my reflections and this update. I have therefore re reviewed this product and changed the rating to high to reflect the quality of their after service. Given the speed of response and approach -I don't think I could expect any better, quite honestly. As I mentioned in the previous review, they were well packaged and well presented and I think they will continue to maintain a decent output-they charge fully through the solar panel and have continuously operated the solar lights throughout the night since I first charged them. Thanks .................................................. Its very irritating to find all 8 batteries arrived without any charge (they were all completely discharged). I only needed a few at a time so I had to charge them all before I could use the ones I required immediately and store the ones I didn't need. I was concerned that they had either been stored by the supplier too long or were corrupted or wouldn't hold any further charge. Once charged though -the ones I used seemed to be working fine. I will check the stored ones to see whether they remain charged over time. Its just not normal for batteries to be delivered depleted. I have scored them low for this reason. Shame because the packaging and presentation of the batteries looks pretty professional.

I buy a lot of rechargeable batteries and thought I'd try the Bonai brand for a change. So far, big mistake! These are supposed to arrive pre-charged - they didn't. All the batteries received were completely flat with zero charge. Tried to charge them but my current charger wouldn't even recognise them. Tried wiggling them and adjusting how they sat but no-go. Knowing that AAA batteries are notoriously difficult to seat in many chargers, I've since purchased a new advanced charger with better connections and full test/display capabilities. This confirmed that none of the batteries had any charge whatsoever. If you're wanting to uses these immediately (e.g. on Christmas Day) then make sure you either buy another brand or expect to charge these up first. I can't comment on their capacity or reliability as yet so will adjust my review in due course to reflect my experience, but so far the Bonai brand has failed to impress. 22/12/18 UPDATE: Slowly working through these batteries getting them properly charged. So far, none have achieved over 800mAh which is disappointing. A further issue found with these is that the plastic coating wraps around onto the bottom of the battery (the -ve end). This means that apart from devices which have a pointed -ve terminal or spring, the plastic actually prevents a clean contact (found this out with a LED torch). Have had to cut the plastic off the bottom edges so that they'll work. There are other brands which are the same but it's something I've never had until I bought Bonai. 31/12/18 UPDATE Bonai contacted me to offer a replacement or refund. Their focus was definitely on me as a customer so I've increased my star rating by 2 to reflect that they are very proactive in trying to sort out any issues and as customer service is very important to me I felt they did their utmost to make me a happy customer.

At less than £1 per AAA battery these batteries are cheap. You can buy a packs of four for £1 from Poundland but they don't hold the same amount of power and they are disposable. Many cheaper batteries drain very fast. Additionally, you pay much more for the branded disposables such as Duracell et al. and they also hold low power. These batteries can hold 1,100 Mah, which is roughly not much less than 50% of the power that good AA batteries can store and they can last long when in use for recording video with a camera. With 1,100Mah, you should be able to put two of these in your TV remote and simply forget about them for a good year or two. The one thing I really like about rechargeables, apart from they do save a lot of money over their lifespans, is that they are also good for the environment. Although they do create some damage, due to them being recharged one has to consider that every time a battery is recharged that would be another disposable going into the waste. Batteries contain toxic metals and end up in landfills, to contaminate land. So, over their lifespan, one rechargeable can prevent 100s of disposables from causing environmental damage. Additionally, every time one charges four rechargeables it is saving a few £s. You can argue that disposable batteries aren't that expensive but truly they are. As disposables hold lower amounts of energy, they deplete much quicker thus need more regular changing. With 1,100 Mah a full charge should last as long as at least double the amount of useage as a disposable one lasts. Therefore, for every charge, two disposables would be needed. With regular and heavy use, each rechargeable battery has the potential to save £100s. However, in reality it would be more like £10s saved per battery, over it's lifetime. I highly recommend these batteries for the reasons above, the lower environmental damage and the savings they make. 24 rechargeables for less than £20, that's a bargain well worht considering.

Good quality batteries
