Wrong colour
Good quality item however the antique brass is not antique brass, it is antique bronze - it's even labelled as such on the box. Doesn't match the other antique brass items from this manufacturer.

you only get one shot
installing these is always going to be a pain, especially for a new door or one that has a smaller mechanism already in, but with a drill, chisel & hammer got the cutouts all donei done a dry run before fitting screws to make sure all was set right and worked properly, it did so i done up the screws to fix everything in. i was using a magnetised pozidrive, and half the screw head was stuck to it every time one went in, it's not a good sign but should never need to come out.on closing the door and opening it again the latch was stuck "open", i tried to loosen the top side plate screw and it thought about moving before the head just disintegrated, after loosening the bottom screw slightly the latch popped out. phew.. i left it slightly loose and tried again, nope stuck again, i took the screw out and it's still the same. As the other screw is rung I'll need to come up with a plan to get it out and check mechanismMy leading theory is the latch is catching on the inside of the door where in hindsight it is exposed slightly. is it poor installation or design flaw ? as the installer im going with design flax, there's no need for it to be visible from the inside of a door.Anyway. the screws supplied are cheap and nasty, so you only get one maybe two goes at putting them in before they fall apart. not sure if there are meant to be instructions with this, it's simple but took me a while to figure out how to turn the latch around. the face plate is a bit extra, why make it deeper than necessary
