Not much to say. These are exactly as described, and if I ever had to break a car window, I am sure this is heavy enough to do it. They may look like plastic, but under the plastic there seems to be lot's of metal. The tool is heavy for its size. I like the price. I hope to never have to use this, but with the price this low, it's a worthwhile bit of insurance whether I am stuck or come across someone else who is.

The best training seems to agree to tap or whack the glass near the bottom of the window above the door line which is the most stable place to focus the energy and break the window. Once there's a break the window can actually be lifted out away from the passenger or push from the inside to avoid as many shards as possible. Many people have nothing handy to cut their own seat belt if they are stuck and in that case this simple belt cutter can do the job with some back and forth motion to saw through the material. The blade is small but not entirely unaffected. Overall I give this four stars because it's pretty good if not the very best choice and the price is right, it's easy to grip and in an emergency simplicity has its virtue.

That means, if you ever want to bring one on your person (like in your purse or backpack) in case you get into a car accident while using a taxi, Uber, etc. and need to escape, you can! The other one you can leave in your car. All in all, having something like this brings me peace of mind. It's also not that expensive either, so this really becomes a no-brainer in my opinion. It's always best to be safe rather than sorry.

I was really pleased with these. To be honest, I expected them to be cheaply made. Pleasantly surprised that they’re actually pretty sturdy with a good weight. They don’t feel cheap and I’m confident I’ll do the job if I ever need them to. Which of course I hope I won’t.
