Clean, Natural Hold with Smooth Finish
I’ve been using this Highland Glacial Cream and it’s been a really solid styling product, especially if you want a natural look. It has a light hold with a matte finish, so it does not make your hair look stiff or overly styled. Instead, it smooths everything out and enhances your natural texture, which makes it great for everyday use. It also helps tame frizz and keeps your hair feeling soft instead of dry. What I like most is how lightweight and clean it feels. It goes in easily, does not leave any greasy or sticky residue, and works well on both damp and dry hair. The ingredients feel high quality, and over time my hair actually felt healthier and more manageable. Overall, it is a great option if you want something low effort that still makes your hair look put together. It is perfect for a relaxed, natural style while still keeping things smooth and controlled.

The best hair cream to ever exist
I’ve finally found the holy grail for my hair—Highland Glacial Clay Hair Cream! This product is a game-changer for anyone with fine hair like mine. Not only does it maintain the perfect shape and style throughout the day, but it also does so without the heavy, greasy look that other creams tend to leave behind. The matte finish and light control are exactly what I need for a natural, understated style that still looks sharp and well-groomed. What truly sets this hair cream apart is its multifunctionality. It’s not just for styling; it doubles as a dry shampoo, keeping my hair looking fresh and lush between washes. The all-natural formula, which includes 15 sustainably sourced ingredients, really seems to nourish my hair and scalp, leaving my hair softer than ever. The commitment to sustainability is also a huge plus for me. The 100% recyclable aluminum packaging aligns perfectly with my values, and knowing that this product is designed in Boulder and produced in Los Angeles adds that extra touch of trust in its quality and origins. Whether I’m styling fresh curls or going for a slicked-back look, this cream works wonders without any fuss. It’s designed for all hair types and textures but truly shines for those of us with medium to long hair aiming for a ‘loose, natural look.’ Highland Glacial Clay Hair Cream is not just a styling product; it’s an essential part of my daily grooming routine that promotes healthier hair and scalp. Hair happiness is indeed guaranteed, and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. If you’re on the fence about trying a new hair product, let this be the one that changes your mind!

Great Styling Cream with a Natural Finish
After having a great experience with Highland Glacial Pomade, I decided to try the Highland Glacial Cream, and I'm happy that I did. Compared to the pomade, the cream has a lighter consistency and is much easier to spread between your hands, making application simple and even. I’ve found you’ll get the best results using it with damp hands and slightly damp hair, so that’s something to keep in mind when styling. The cream comes in a tube and includes a small metal key that slides over the end, allowing you to roll the tube and dispense the product cleanly and efficiently. It’s a thoughtful touch that helps minimize waste and keeps things neat. It has a light, earthy scent that isn’t overpowering and fades nicely after application. I found the hold works best for medium to longer hair lengths. It provides control and structure without leaving your hair feeling sticky or crunchy, which I really appreciate. The finish looks natural rather than overly styled. In my experience, the Glacial Cream performs even better when used in combination with the Highland Glacial Pomade—using the cream for foundational control and finishing with the pomade for added structure. The only downside is the price. It’s more expensive than some competing products. While I personally think the quality justifies the cost, the higher price point may give some buyers pause. Overall, if you’re looking for a premium styling cream that delivers a natural look with solid control, this is definitely worth considering.

Bad flakes, bad packaging, just bad
First off product came smashed in a very flimsy box. It was off to a bad start already. Upon opening you’ll notice the product is in an almost “paint tube” like bottle/tube. The whole design is dependent on this metal key that’s inside the box the hair creme came in. You use this key to turn the tub to squeeze out product as you go. I can easily see how someone will miss this metal key and accidentally toss it along with the packaging especially if it arrives like mine did all crushed up. You have to puncture the tube with the sharp edge of the cap. Then hair product just flows out of the opening due to the pressure of the metal turn key if you don’t close the tube soon enough. Even after you stop turning the key hair product will keep coming out of the opening if you don’t cap it quick enough. That’s just all about presentation not even talking about the performance of the hair product itself. I initially applied it to my dry hair as I do for almost every type of hair styling product I’ve used (clay, creme, moose, etc.) Instantly after putting this through my hair I noticed a TON of white flakes all over my hair. It looked super disgusting and made my hair look unkept as if I hadn’t washed it properly in many days. Definitely not something I would leave the house feeling comfortable with especially if you were going to work or some social event. I then went online and saw this company saying to make sure you apply this to moist or damp hair. They even suggested having your hands slightly wet when you apply the product. The next day I decided to give this another try and followed all the suggestions. I applied the product to slightly damp hair with some slight moisture in my hands before applying. Again many white flakes all over my hair without even a few seconds passing by from applying it. Really tried to give this product a fair shot but it’s just flat out bad at the end of the day. Not sure how others are giving it good reviews. Maybe they’re friends of the business owners or perhaps all have blonde and light brown hair so they can’t see any of the product flakes. If you have dark hair or any sort of brown or black hair, I’d avoid this at all costs. No point in risking someone coming up to you in public or at an important business dinner and pointing out that you have dandruff like flakes all over. Very disappointed at this product especially at the $30 asking price. Spend that money elsewhere on a more reliable brand like Bumble & Bumble hair products!

The best styling product, but pricey indeed
As someone with thin, curly hair, I find that this styling product works very well. It melts right into the hands with a bit of water, glides through the hair, and gives me defined, fuller-looking curls with an impressive amount of hold for something that isn’t completely weighing the curls down. I find the smell to be fine, but it’s probably not for everyone. It doesn’t wash out well without water alone, so if you’re not a shampoo every day person it does build up quick. I find washing every other day to be the maximum you can stretch washes out. It’s maybe not the perfect product for me, but it’s certainly the best I’ve found so far. It is pricey but a little goes a long way.

It’s fantastic, you guys are just using it wrong
When people think about hair products, they usually put them on a binary scale: either it holds your hair in place or it leaves it shiny and bouncy. That’s because most products are marketed as either moisturizers or holding products. What a lot of people don’t realize is that there’s a whole matrix of products out there that do a million different things depending on the look you’re going for. If you’re like me and treat hair care as a hobby and part of your grooming routine, you might fall in love with glacial cream like I did. I have a medium-short haircut and wanted something that left my hair soft and malleable that tamed frizz and flyaways while smoothing and conditioning. Most people reach for Moroccan or argan oil when they want a smoothing cream, but they can leave hair greasy and limp. This doesn’t do that. It gives volume, texture, and body while still keeping hair smooth and manageable. It’s not a holding gel, and it’s not advertised as one. Too many people use it like it’s supposed to be a standalone holding product and then wonder why their hair feels dirty and bogged down. It’s designed to stand alone as a smoothing product for shake and go haircuts, or to layer with holding products. And, unlike a lot of silicone or oil based products, this one has amazing washability. It doesn’t take any extra effort in your shampoo routine to get it out. A tube lasts me about four months, which is a solid value for the size of the tube you get. You don’t need to use much for it to do the job. It’s also unscented, which makes it easy to slot into any beauty routine. Again, this isn’t a standalone holding gel. It’s a smoothing and conditioning clay, and if your hair type benefits from that kind of control, it’s fantastic.

Excellent pomade
I am a senior, and have grey/thin hair. This is the best pomade I have used. Non-greasy and holds very well. If you have thin hair like I do you do not need very much, so the high price tag is not an issue. Holds well throughout the day. Love the ingredients and the mission of this business!

Good product, but not worth the price.
I got flooded with Facebook ads for this product and decided to give it a try. I have medium length wavy hair. Let me start by saying I do like how the product works in my hair. It offers some control without being gummy or sticky in the hair, and the clay in it gives it almost a dry shampoo quality where it adds texture without making hair look greasy. All that said, I was really disappointed in the size of the tube for this amount of money. It’s much smaller than I thought it would be, and it takes a fair amount of the product, probably an almond sized dab, with each use to really get my hair under control. I’ve only had it about two and a half weeks and am already close to running out. The tube also popped about a week in, so product is leaking out of the top. Once the product hits air, the clay hardens it so it’s not really usable, so I’m keeping a glob of unused product on top to guard the rest of what’s in the tube. All in all it’s not a bad product, but I don’t think there’s enough of a wow factor to justify the small size, especially when the tube leaks really easily. I will probably go back to Kevin Murphy easy rider or free flow once this tube runs out.
