Excellent, perfect size, and very stylish without being 'too' big or chunky. Got the varnished wood, which I prefer as it is less likely to rub or snag the curtain fabric.

Firstly, at the time of review the sales product description does not seem to be for the wood beaded magnetic tie backs, as it mentions braided rope and a longer length. Saying that, do not be put off as I'm confident when you recieve your beaded tie backs you'll be as pleased as I am. I ordered the chocolate tone to compliment flooring & other dark wood accents, but really liked most of the colour options, I'm sure you'll find one you like too. On opening the beaded ties (which came in a clear celophane bag) I was pleasantly surprised as the beads seemed larger than I imagined, sure the sizes are given in the imagery, but I guess it didn't compute in my brain. The lightweight wooden beads are threaded onto narrow yet strong cord, there's no 'give' but these are a fairly good length at over 17". The magnetism is strong! So strong that when I had an open tie back in my hand the magnet caught the radiator and clung to it, lol. I would advise when opening them to pull right at the magnets directly not from the smaller beads. The magnets make the ends a little heavier so if your fabric is very light/silky they may slide down a bit. I have mind resting over brass curtain hooks to keep them in place. I am happy with these wooden bead tie backs, but for me they perhaps could have been a little longer to fit their intended location of wide door curtains in the hall, just to create a softer more shaped/drape when pulled back; just personal preference. If your intended curtains are quite wide or full/heavy these may create a tight pulled back pleat effect on your fabric. *Have a rough idea of how much curtain drape you want when pulled back to make sure this size is ideal for you, just use a soft tape measure as a 'pretend' tie back so you can get an idea of the length you want. The tie back design would fit with both classic and contemporary fabrics and home styles. The wood adding a warmth and natural element. They do look good. *These beads also look good as a necklace... uh huh I briefly tried it ;-)

The tie backs were too long for our curtains (they are 44cm in length). I tried the various methods shown in the description pictures but nothing really looked good. The 'Rock Grey' is kind of brown clay grey to my eyes and didn't go with the colour of our curtains. They are true to our monitor colour so that's on me. Not really the Boho look I hoped for. Maybe other people will have better luck.

Nice tie-backs. Solid and chunky. Feel like they are going to last.

The feel of natural wood in a world of plastic is so good. I hope they last me a while because I love the look and feel of them

It looks nice, but doesn't last. I had it for two days and one broke already and I can see the second one is getting loose as well. It looks like the magnets are just screwed in straight into the rope, so it's no wonder that it doesn't hold for too long. I will try to fix it with a glue gun but I am very disappointed and won't recommend it.
