Vegan Flaxseed Oil (1200mg) Herbal Supplement with Plant-Based ALA Omega 3 - Vegan Certified & Non-GMO Verified - Gluten, Soy & Carrageenan Free (180 Veggie Softgels)

My Dr. said I should be getting omega-3s and suggested I take fish oil supplements. Yuck! I’m a vegetarian, so I looked into vegan sources of omega-3. That led me to Amazon and Sports Research’s plant-based flaxseed oil. After reading all the info on the page, I was delighted. It had everything I was looking for and more. Vegan CERTIFIED (other companies make the claim, but then you discover beeswax or lanolin in their product), non-GMO certified, GMP certified and 3rd party tested, and free of carrageenan, gluten, soy and fillers. Perfect! So I’m getting my omega-3 fatty acids, along with omegas 6 and 9 in a vegan poll that doesn’t smell and taste fishy. I’ve been experiencing hormone-related hair fallout for a few months, and I feel like it has slowed down since I started taking the flaxseed oil. I’m very happy with this product and I’m also really pleased with the company for the kinds of quality products they provide to those of us who desire healthy supplements without compromising our lifestyle choices.

This supplement was recommended by a 63 yo friend who has the various aches & problems associated with living beyond 55 years of age. Joint stiffness, body pain, troubled tummy, & weight that refused to budge. He said the flaxseed helped with all of it, so I ordered it. It arrived the next day & I begin taking it that day. I have had great results in just a week: bowels emptying completely, loosening of stiff joints, clearing of mental fog, more energy. I feel better at 55 yo than I did at 35.

I was recommended this product after my doctor told me I had high cholesterol. I am on a keto diet so I knew that could be a possibility. It scared me so I told my mother and she recommended this product to me after my grandmother had taken it and it did amazing things for her cholesterol. I also read it is good for dry eyes and I have that as well. Both my husband and I have been taking the product for 3 weeks. There are no side effects(bad taste, hard to swallow, etc). I will know if they have done anything for my cholesterol after my doctor appointment. My dry eyes seem to be better. We both notice a difference! Thanks for a great product! Excellent omega 3 supplement. I keep in the fridge, hope that is good.

I just started taking this product and will do a review again later. I love that there is an alternative to fish oil because I cannot tolerate it due to IBS issues. So far this hasn’t caused my stomach any distress. I love that it has omega 3, 6 & 9. I also love that it is non GMO certified, certified vegan, gluten free and GMP certified. Quality ingredients is what I was looking for and over 300mg. Most oils you see start at 300mg. Right now I’m taking 2 a day instead of 3 because the bottle only has 180 softgels and there’s two of us taking this. Update: I have been using this a couple of weeks and have seen a big change in my eyes. Pun intended. I had a severe case of dry eye and my doc wanted me to use fish oil. I cannot tolerate fish oils so I tried this instead and I have noticed a huge difference. I take one capsule only. I was taking it 2-3 times a day and it was causing stomach upset and bleeding so I went down to one pill and everything is right as rain. Update: Was told to take fish oils for my dry eye and vision but I could not tolerate some brands I’ve tried. Tried your flaxseed oil and I can only take it once a day as it was causing some intestinal problems and some bleeding taking it two to theee times a day. So far so good with one pill and my eyes are not as irritated and dry as they were. I will keep taking them one pill for eye relief.

I have chronic dry eye, so my Dr said I should be using fish oil supplements. I'm a vegetarian so chose this flaxseed oil product to use, but like vegans, I also don't consume gelatin. This product is a plant based capsule, so takes care of that issue. I have bought this brand for years, and been happy with it. A few years ago, sometimes the capsules came partially stuck together, but I haven't had that occur in a while now. Sometimes there is a very slight aftertaste, but nothing major.

As a long-time vegetarian, I encorpoated flaxseed into my diet several years ago to ensure an adequate omega 3 intake. I had initially been with a different brand but decided to switch after noticing a strong, rancid odor upon opening the last few bottles. No such issues with Sports Research. I take one softgell with every meal and have noticed that the arthritis in my hands and shoulders are causing much less discomfort than before. My nails and hair are growing faster and seem healthier than ever. The softgells are larger than some people may prefer, but they are easier to swallow than one might expect, so don't let that keep you from giving this quality product a try.

I know it is late for a review, but I got an email to leave a feed back. I recieved the item in good packaging but the plastic saftey seal that seals the pills under the lid was open so I threw it in the trash because I don't know what might dwell inside and it may affect my health if I ate it since it wasn't properly sealed.

Capsules stuck together. Some of the capsules got leaked. Fishy smell. I lost around 25 capsules. Worst delivery. I removed the stucked capsules and put to another bottle.
