They work as they should, just follow directions and use a straight line marker(snap line)

Worked great on my Trex deck
Very easy to use and seem sturdy. Provides a hidden fastener for the deck edges that looks great. Less expensive than the other brand but quality is great.

Product could not be used for its intended purpose
This product did not match the Trex composite decking material as intended. As a result, it could not be used for the decking panels it was designed for.

Fascia use
I was also able to use them to secure grooved boards vertically as fascia boards. The top overhanging deck boards hides the other side of the groove

Compatible with Trex
We got these starter clips for our Trex deck. They worked perfectly. Some other brands aren't the right shape and don't grip the groove of the board correctly, but we didn't have any issues with these. These can get quite expensive so this is a pretty good deal for the quantity. The screws are pretty average. Overall pretty happy with these starter clips and wood recommend them to anyone else building with Trex.

i bought these starter clips in case i needed them for my composite deck project, but i didn't use them because i bought some boards with the smooth/straight edge on 1 side. These would work as intended.
