I purchased this KT Tape to help support my thumb ligament tear, and it has worked wonderfully. It provides the extra stability I need throughout the day without limiting my movement, making everyday tasks much more comfortable. I also have very sensitive skin, so I was concerned about irritation, but I’m happy to say that it hasn’t caused any skin irritation or redness, even after wearing it for extended periods. The uncut roll is convenient because I can cut the exact length I need, and the tape stays in place well throughout the day. This is my first time using kinetic tape and I couldn’t believe how much it helped my injuries! The KT brand was recommended to me by my golf buddy who is also a chiropractor. I have used KT’s how to videos so I knew how to correctly use it. It’s very sticky and I sweat a lot and it stays in place! I highly recommend this KT tape!

I liked that it is a thin tape and can easily worn under socks. It is rather sticky so you want to make sure to leave some paper on the ends to apply it, ( like a band aid). I also found the smell a bit off putting. I was using it to provide support for plantar fasciitis and kept it on for 48 hours on both feet, including during a 4-mile walk the second day. However, I have since learned that keeping the plantar fascia in a stretched or static position, which I was doing with this tape, may not be helpful for this condition, according to Dr Angela. (short, active stretches are better for long term cure). It felt okay the first day but did not seem to make any difference the second.

I don't know what they make this tape out of but it is GREAT for preventing bra-band chafing during runs and hikes. Stays on forever and protects my skin better than balms. My go-to for long or wet runs. As a bonus, with a pair of scissors and a little creativity it can be repurposed as body tape for outfits incompatible with bras.

This tape lacks the support that I need for my ankle injury. I was using mueller brand which I found to be highly supportive. Although the edges did fray the tape held in place for several days even through a bath and 2 showers (although frayed more the more wet it got). It relieved most my pain from my injury and I was able to walk around with little to no pain. KT tape does not offer the same support. Although it feels better than when it's not taped the support is minimal and there is still pain even when siting with my foot raised. I was forced to use a second layer of tape to offer greater support which defeats the purpose of purchasing this tape for affordability. This tape is also pre cut which I find to be a pain due to the nature of my injury and the varied lengths of tape needed. I need two really long pieces and once short... The tapes adhesivness itself is problematic as it's already peeling and I have not had it on for more than 30 min. 3 stars because I think depending on your injury or need this tape could work well for you. However for my injury (talar dome lesion) this tape is not supportivr enough.

Excellent quality and easy to use. I swear by Ktape if I have an injury needing support. This is long lasting and did not irritate my skin. And excellent purchase and the type of sports tape I will keep on hand.
