⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I’m really impressed with this UV light. It comes in a sturdy metal-style housing that feels durable and well-made. You can’t see the light inside, but don’t let that fool you—it’s doing its job. Hookup was simple with my existing pump and hose system, no hassle at all. I was dealing with dark green water in my pond from sun exposure, and within just a few days of using this, the water started clearing up noticeably. Now it’s crystal clear! If you’re struggling with algae or murky water, this is 100% worth it. Highly recommend for anyone fighting green water problems.

Functionality: I am on my third type of filter for a 150-gal fish pond and waterfall in my backyard. Since this is only the light and is easily installed on my pump line to the fountain (took about 10 minutes), there aren't any moving parts to break or wear out. We emptied the pond and cleaned it out before installing the light. It has been in place for 2 months now, and the water is staying clean without having to add any chemicals. This is worth the money and I would highly recommend it.

In two weeks my pond went from not being able to see my fish to crystal clear with no chemicals!! Well it cleared my water but quit working yesterday ! A lot of money for something to only work two weeks ! I would not recommend buying one !

I was struggling with the water since my tanks stays outdoors! I tried water changes daily but the water would turn back to green real quick. Long story short, I wasn't able to see my fish if they were more then 3 inches away front the front glass. I bought this UV light, and first I connected it to an extra water pump I have, I saw it started to have some effect, now I have it connected directly to the outtake from my canister filter. I believe it has been 3 week and the and the water now is Crystal clear. This is this is a good product!!

Pics are from day 1, day 2, and day 4, only reason im not giving 5 stars is because assembly without leakage was a bit of a pain i ended up using a little silicone on rubber washer and threads to prevent leakage but once i got it sealed up this thing worked waaaay better than expected! My pond is approximately 150 gallons and in direct sunlight all afternoon in arizona and once temps hit above 80 my pond was so green i couldn't see the fish at all, i tried algea fix and barely straw first but nothing could keep up with the algea growth, once i got this thing up and running i saw results very quickly, by day 4 it was crystal clear and fish seem happy and healthy. Definitely worth a try if you are fighting algea in your pond

I had a major problem controlling algae growth in my outdoor fountain. The FL sun was relentless in promoting algae. My solution was using this UV clarifier in combination with clear chlorinating sanitizer (marketed for spa use) and it has helped out tremendously. My water return pump is connected to this clarifier, the water passes through it and returns it to the fountain. Of note, algae does resurface if I'm not consistent with the chlorinating treatments. This has significantly helped reduce algae over previous attempts of just treating the water only.

Easy install .. people complain of leaks just put hose clamps on it and good to go ...works though

I've had about 15 different UV pond lights over the past few decades. This one is junk. First off, it leaks horribly fresh out of the box. I loaded it with thread tape and still couldn't get the leak to stop completely. Second, after about 30 hours of use, it began tripping the GFI. So there is obviously a short being caused by water getting to the ballast. (Judging by its design, the is 100% plausible.) I ordered it sooner than I needed it, so of course, by the time I got around to using it, the return window had expired. I 'may' be able to rig it up so it doesn't short anymore, (Fingers crossed) but it will be a permanent fix that won't allow me to change the UV bulb once it goes bad. Either way, out of the box, this thing is junk. Do not buy.
