Best thing ever. I had some really high end MTN bike shoes for spin class but the rubber grips on the sole broke up making them look really rubbish. These let you use the MTN cleats (spd's) on your road shoes, which I find you can pick up cheaper anyways and they often look nicer than some off road shoes! They fit perfectly. there is no front back adjustment, only side to side (Q Factor) but if your shoes fit it should be in the right place anyway. There are 3 large head bolts for each baseplate and 2 small head ones for each cleat, (but the actual cleats are a separate purchase) I'd mount the baseplate with all 3 bolts, get them on tight, then remove the one nearest the toe, put the plastic part on and replace the bolt you just took out - that way it should all stay aligned. Then you install your cleats in the 2 remaining bolt holes with the smaller headed bolts. Fantastic

Does the job but there isn't much adjustment. Good for adapting my road shoes for the pedals j have on the Wattbike which are dual sided.

Bought shoes with fixings for 3 hole cleats but wife needed SPD’s for spin. These are the perfect solution. Little bit tricky to fit, with the front hole getting the screw to start took a hell of a lot of pushing but then did up properly. Would definitely recommend. Shimano always good quality.

I've been toying with getting something like this for a while and finally decided to spend the dosh. I'm glad i did as my road shoes have now taken on an extended use across more bikes! So how does it work? Its very simple, you simply fit in place of your three point cleats and bolt on your two point cleats. The photo's go through the stages required. 1 - the box contains 2x metal adapter, 2x plastic cover, 6x fixing bolts and 4x short cleat bolts plus the instructions of course! 2 - start by removing your 3 bolt cleats - these are my Specialised Road Defroster winter boots 3 - place metal adapter onto the shoe and fit lower 2 bolts ensuring top hole is lined up with the hole in the shoe 4 - place plastic cover over the adapter plate 5 - make sure its properly seated and fix in place with the third retaining bolt 6 - fit your 2 bolt cleat and align as normal. note: there isn't any fore/aft adjustment unless your 3 bolt set up has some 7 - the plastic cover has two shoulders which make walking more stable than 2 bolt systems usually are. I got a great offer on a pair of road shoes but they came with tripple holes for road cleats. I needed SPD for the spin bike at my gym and these converters did the trick. Done 20+ classes in them with no wobble or need to tighten them up. Recommended.

These work perfectly! Easily allowed me to convert my shimano road bike shoes to have SPD cleats mounted on them. I ride road bikes but I much prefer SPD pedals even though, many think SPD's don't look cool on road bikes!!! I love my road bike shoes and now I can love them even more with a pair of SPD cleats on them too!!
