Works well multiple inputs and outputs
These Unis work well for making old garage openers smart and be able to control 2 doors with such a small, prebuilt micro-controller. Small yet it is wifi enabled. The current wifi opener controller is not so great. This Uni is simple and I can make the sensors work as I prefer. I will be using 2 sensors on a single door to check door status, as well as latch status. I use it with a regulated 12V power adapter.I will be using another one for monitoring my car battery. I had situations where the battery became low several times. The Uni is perfect to wire up inside the car as a battery voltage monitor. Is sends me messages when its below the threshold. The Shelly App is easy to use and setup. I can also setup scenes and send notifications to my phone. The Uni has 2 wifi connections, so that I can setup home as well as one from my cell when away. Love the fact that it has 2 inputs and 2 potential-free outputs. The built-in voltage measurement via analog input is very accurate. The power consumption is low. Instructions are great and there is much info online as well. The Uni works as expected.

I love these
I've been using UNIs throughout my van. I have 15 or so running. They aren't super durable, but printed 3d cases for them and am careful about the loads I control. The switches are low amp, so use a relay if you are controlling any real load. If you toggle power accidentally, they'll lose their connection to the wireless, but they are easy to add back with the shelly app. The devices work well with Home Assistant, and they are easy to wire up. They seem to handle a range of input power just fine (12v to 13.7v) though I did put eventually wire them with regulated 12v power just in case. The older ones use less power than the new Uni Plus. The new plus versions do seem more solidly built.

This is perfect for my RV
I’ve been looking for a WiFi voltage monitor and auto generator start for years. This Shelly provides the perfect solution to allow me to have my RV off grid but to monitor and charge my batteries from my home or anywhere else in the country.

Great little device!
While just a hair more expensive than I think it should be, the Shelly Uni, like most Shelly devices, has been a very good device! I bought it for a project where I added solar power and batteries to my shed to power a Wi-Fi camera around the clock. I'm using the Uni to monitor the battery level and shed temperature with the data being communicated to Home Assistant via MQTT. So far, I have been very happy with the device overall! I do have 2 minor issues with it:1) Even when setting it up in my home, about 12 feet from the router, the web page it hosts is painfully slow to load! Once loaded, it performs well. Thankfully, you don't really need to go there unless you're setting it up or upgrading the firmware so it's not a big deal to me.2) Like other reviews have mentioned, the Wi-Fi range leaves a bit to be desired. The Uni is ~90 feet away from the nearest AP (1 glass sunroom wall, 1 brick wall at the house then thin wood paneling on the shed itself) and just squeaks by with a -81dBm signal (1Mbps)! For comparison, the Wi-Fi camera that the setup powers (which is only a few feet away from the Uni) connect with a -55dBm signal (65Mbps).

Works flawlessly
The Shelly Plus Uni works exactly as described. The setup was straightforward. It has been rock solid using Home Assistant

Automated Solar Heliostat
I used 3 of these to handle the deployment, tracking and retraction of my 2.2Kw residential heliostat here in California. It's been a year now and the Shelly's haven't skipped a day

Simple and straight-forward
Shelly does the job and does it efficiently, discretely, humbly and right. It does not force you to use someone's "cloud", does not force you to share your personal information, does not require you to know soldering or programming.I can solder, I can code but shelly turns out to be quicker and more reliable solution to nearly all my home automation projects.

The most versatile
So useful for so many things. I have 4, wish I had more, and have plans for more beyond that.
