AD716 Hair Octopus Clips for Thick Long Curly Wavy Hair

I have thick, medium-length, 3C curly hair, and this clip is perfect for a quick updo. The teeth are long enough to effectively grip my hair, and the octopus shape provides enough space for its thickness. It comfortably and securely holds my hair without the need for pins. The quality of plastic feels (and looks) higher than Scrunci or Goody. It also seems well made, but I haven't owned it long enough to determine its durability. I'm definitely purchasing a couple more.

Like others, I'm no longer thrilled with the quality of the drugstore hair clips that used to be my go to for decades. This octopus style clip, while pricier than traditional brands, is just right for my past shoulder length blonde hair, which I have a lot of, but is thin and curly. It grips nicely without causing headaches. My hair was almost touching my shoulders when I started using this clip and it held just fine. I'm certain it could handle thicker and longer hair as there's plenty of room without appearing so, if that makes sense. Great quality, love the tortoiseshell shade. Very happy with purchase.

Does this clip securely hold back my hair? Yes. Does the shape of this clip help the hair in my twisty updo look better than the average clip does? Yes. Is it more money than I really want to spend on a clip? Yes. Does it also pull out some of my hair every time I use it? Yes. For the price of the clip, I feel like it shouldn’t pull out any of my hair. However, there’s something that snags a few strands each time I unclip my hair from it. Thus my one deducted star. All in all, it’s a nicely shaped clip that helps my hair look cute, but the quality of the material doesn’t feel much different than one you could get at the dollar store.

This is so worth the $. If you have thick, long hair ,it will stay put all day & probably all night, and look great also. ( Forget it if your hair is thin, and/ or short & thin - I don't think this is what you want).

I would love to leave this 5 stars, its an absolutely beautiful hair clip, by far my favorite! I liked the unique rubber band closure system, it held my long hair in place very well. It was comfortable and I adored the color! Unfortunately, it broke in half yesterday morning, so I didn't get very much use out of it. I'm going to try and repair it, it should just glue back together, hopefully that will fix it.

This is my second shopping from this seller. The first item was Big Claw Clip and I love it so much. They are sturdy and hold my hair nicely. After one year, my hair got long and need more bigger ( or wider) clips. I got Spider Clip this time and it can hold my long hair. But... I don't recommend it because IT'S HARD TO OPEN BEFORE CLIP. It looks cute, but I can't open it by one hand so no use.

These are the best hair clips ever, especially the larger size. It blends into my hair flawlessly. I have even used it all day at disneyland or during a workout. Fits great, super comfortable, and holds the hair great. I buy multiple of these each time it comes out again. I recommend for all my thick hair girlies!
