It's a beast !!
This sucker will take down anything ! I've been cutting down whole trees that most would use a chainsaw on and it goes through like butter . No b.s. it's expensive but worth it coz you'd go through 20 different blades of a cheaper brand

Durable and tough
Worth the cost vs. cheap blades. Durable with the toughest branches and roots. Doesn’t dull quickly so it cuts fast and lasts.

Best pruning blade I’ve tried yet. 👍🏻
After watching a few videos on YT, these were on my radar as being a high quality and effective blade as we have come to expect from the Diablo moniker. This afternoon, I went through a bunch of brush and some green maple (9-12” diameter) with ease - most assuredly living up to the hype. After using one intermittently for a few hours, it’s still very sharp. Heck, I only used half of a 6 Ah “Forge” battery in the MKE M18 Fuel Sawzall. After seeing how well they work and last, I can attest to this being a good value and can easily recommend the 9” length for pruning. It will be my new go-to blade for cut-your-own XMas trees.

These are tough.
Two things. First these did not arrive in a timely fashion. Stated two days, more like a week. Now to these blades. I needed something to cut roots in the ground. Recently cleared another acre of woods out. Even though we dug out the trunk as best we could with an excavator, roots will be left behind. Easily found while tilling and digging for various projects. These blades are about the only ones I’ve found that can be buried deep in the dirt (clay around here) and continue to cut roots, small and large. They will last a fair amount of time provided they do not get over heated. Some of the roots I’ve cut with these were 4” and larger in diameter over a foot deep. Just keeps on cutting. I’d have to say the blades I’ve had to retire were due more to miss use. Helper bending, twisting and snapping blades. Learning how to keep the blade straight and these may last days.

Very nice cutting blade
Blades are more expensive, but they are cutting really well

The best blades for removing stumps and shrubs
I bought these blades for cutting out about 200 hedge plants. I tried several of the top brand blades. I bought some of the Bosch pruning blades, but wile they are insanely sharp, they are kind of fragile. They are awesome for what they are sold for, pruning. These Freud Diablo blades were the only blades that held up really well when removing the hedge. I was cutting out plants that are buried in 3/4 inch gravel. With most blades, once you hear the metallic sound of the blades hitting the gravel, you know they are not long for this world. With these blades, they just kept cutting. The teeth are very hard, and they look like they are brazed on to the blade. This way the blade itself is not too brittle, and can flex without breaking, but the teeth are very durable. All in all, I went through about 3 or 4 Diablo blades on the whole project. Some other blades I tried would only last for a couple of plants, and then they were completely done for. I thought I may need dozens of blades. Not with these!!

Great performance from a sharp blade.
As noted by others, the aggressive nature of the blade does make for a rather shuddering experience. That is just the price that must be paid for a non binding pruning blade (IMHO). I used the blade to cut through trees and branches (both dead and live) up to 6" in diameter and had no issues. Still on the first blade. I would recommend it. (You might want to take off that antique wind up watch.)

I used to cut back some conifer stumps(wet wood) and these blades (only used one) made the job easier. Yes I would (wood) buy them again if needed.

I used this blade to prune branches, cut down trees and to cut up scrap wood. I have been using the same blade for 2 weeks. Works great

Bought this 3-piece deal at a more economical price than a single blade I bought a few months ago. I have used this blade to prune a quite number of tree branches (largest about 120mm diameter). Very sharp, effective and durable blade. Highly recommended.
