This is a great buy for the price. The quality of the ukelele feels great and the sound is pretty decent. I need to tune it almost every time I use it, but I use it every few days, so not too often, but it holds tuning pretty well. If you're a musician and are looking for a high-quality ukelele you may need to look somewhere else (and pay accordingly), but if you just want one to either learn or mess around with, this one is great.The cloth cover feels pretty cheap and I doubt it'll save it from any damage in case of any sort of accident, but it's better than nothing, I guess.All in all, worth the price for what you get.

Nice wood, nice tone, very light. Makes beautiful music. I would definitely recommend. It was a great surprise for the price! Would definitely recommend. Probably not great for the discerning professional musician, but I couldn't ask for more as a hobbyist!

The media could not be loaded. I've been playing the ukulele for several months as a hobby, and I have a couple hundred dollar Córdoba concert ukulele at home. So I bought this makanu ukulele to play at work place during the lunch break. To be honest, this ukulele is pretty good at this price range, I change the original nylon strings to the d'addario fluorocarbon strings which make it sounded better. No complaints about the original strings, coz even my Córdoba uku also came with the nylon strings when I just got it. The design for this makanu uku is nice, the way how it holds the strings is more easier than the old fashioned ways. If people just wanna spend 50 dollars or less on a uku, this uku is a good choice.

I am really enjoying learning to play the uke! This is a good instrument for a beginner. I’m storing it in it’s original box because the case isn’t worth a hoot. Definitely recommend if you’re interested in playing!

not very good, sound is tacky, and becomes untuned very very easily.

My 11 year old wanted to play with His older brother who already owned one. I chose this one out of a wide selection and couldn't be happier. This little thing plays great, easy to tune, and looks nice. The case it comes with is also very nice. No need to buy a different one.

For the low price you cannot do better. If you are looking for a Uke this is it.
