Quiet and versatile with great auto settings
This Samsung microwave is excellent. It runs quietly and has a good 23L capacity for everyday use. The auto cook and melt functions work really well, and there are plenty of preset options for different foods, which makes it super convenient. It looks sleek in black, is easy to clean, and feels solidly built. Overall, a great all-round microwave. Pros: ✅ Quiet operation ✅ Auto cook and melt functions work perfectly ✅ Plenty of useful preset settings ✅ Sleek design and easy to clean

Simple, easy to use and looks classy
Fantastic microwave, easy to use, easy to clean and looks amazing! Great price, my previous microwave was smaller size and broke but this is alot better great size and looks lovely in the kitchen! Have had lots of compliments and i prefer buttons on the microwave than dials and prefer a handle to open microwave than push a button! Handle is sturdy ! Heats up food easily and overall a good buy

Great microwave, but could be better
I bought this microwave as the one we had (which was gifted to us) was on its last legs, literally rusting and falling apart. Decided to go with this one as I'm a fan of both Samsung and black electronics, so seemed like a no brainer. The mostly positive reviews didn't hurt either. I must say that the microwave does look and feel more premium than our previous model (the brand escapes me) but it was a white 900w, 21 litre capacity. This microwave has tons of great features and as I said, it has a premium aesthetic, while also not breaking the bank. While it does have great features and design however, it is lacking a bit in other areas. Firstly the controls could be better (and actually explained) in the "manual." For example, I wanted to test out the soften feature. Instead of being able to press "Soften/Melt" then select a number from 1-4 (depending on what you're softening) and pressing start, you have to press the "Select/Clock" button and THEN start. It's only one extra step and I really don't mind it now that I know, but it doesn't tell you this in the instructions, which almost led me to believe the thing arrived faulty. My other gripe is how underpowered it seems. Despite being only 100w less power, it seems like it takes nearly twice as long to heat similar things as my old microwave. I can understand a small increase in time, but double seems a bit much. And lastly, and this one is pretty minor, the screen on the door is SUPER dark. You will not be able to see what's inside the microwave, even while it's cooking. Seems a bit nit-picky, but it's a strange thing when you consider most other makes and models don't have that issue. Other than that it's a great little microwave, and if you can ignore the minor quirks, I'm sure you'll enjoy it as much as I do.

Amazing Product
Excellent purchase. Samsung have always produced some of the best microwave ovens. This one is just as good. I agree with all the reviews as with the light not being bright enough. It's virtually impossible to see inside whilst using it. That's the only thing im going to nit pick at. Definitely worth every penny though. The functions and overall performance are second to none. I also think it looks smart as well.

Used–As‑New and Absolutely Perfect Microwave
I bought this Samsung used – as new and was a bit nervous about what condition it would actually arrive in. When the parcel turned up, the outer box was quite damaged, so I expected the worst. But once I opened it, the microwave itself was absolutely perfect — spotless, no marks, and working exactly as it should. You’d never know it wasn’t brand new. Really pleased with the purchase and relieved it arrived in perfect condition despite the rough packaging.

Excellent value, solid build quality and very simple to use
Bought to replace a more expensive Panasonic from which paint was flaking badly in what was clearly a manufacturing/design/quality issue after under 18 months - which Panasonic deemed to be perfectly reasonable! Samsung not usually a brand I'd consider, in part due to past experience with reliability many, many years ago and also because they seem overloaded with features and haven't always been intuitive. This product has changed my perception. Build quality appears excellent, the product is made in Malaysia not China and it feels very robust and looks sleek and stylish. The ceramic interior also looks extremely durable - time will tell. Most surprisingly is how incredibly simple the microwave is to use - I'd say even easier than a basic manual 2-dial model. Features are useful and work well and the machine cooks and defrosts very evenly - much better than the Panasonic with its 'Invertor' technology which was prone to cold spots. Reassuringly quiet and smooth in operation too and the turntable turns smoothly, unlike the juddering Panasonic. The main manual has to be downloaded, but the machine is so simple a quick read of the included Simple User Manual will get you up and running no time. Two negatives, neither of which warrant knocking off a star. Firstly, the interior light truly is as awful and pointless as other reviews mention - you can just about see a vague shadow rotating! Second, navigating Samsungs convoluted, buggy car crash of a site to a) register the product and then b) claim your extended guarantee is painful in the extreme. All in all though looks a bargain price for a premium brand machine.

Buttons > Dials
Had an old Samsung microwave that worked fine but it had a dial to adjust the power and time. The dial broke so it was very temperamental - one turn could add 6 minutes on, or maybe 30 seconds, or remove time and go back to 0. It would take multiple turns and adjustments to land on the time you need, it was luck-based and very annoying. So I got this one that is just buttons. All buttons actually. And buttons are good. No, actually, buttons are great. They push in and out. And when you do that, it does one thing. If you press that button again, it does the same thing again for a second time. If you press it again after that, it does the same thing a third time. Nice and predictable. Very binary - "digital" - in fact. Which is ironic because manufacturers think being modern is fitting an analogue dial onto their appliances. Yet we live in a digital age, which is better suited to buttons. So if you hate dials or have had a bad experience with one (like I have). Get buttons on your microwave instead. It just won't look as flashy as a dial one.

It’s fine
I bought this to replace a stainless steel panasonic microwave which after 8 years had become corroded inside the door and developed holes in the door lining (it still worked perfectly but I thought it probably wasn’t safe). This Samsung one is nice looking and works ok but feels less solid than the panasonic and I’m finding it underheats slightly on the times given on packaged food, whereas the panasonic was always spot on. I find it ok to operate but not as straightforward as it could be. The control panel prioritises Auto-cook and other programmes whereas all I want to do most of the time is give it x minutes on full power. To do this you have to press the Microwave button, then press another button on the next row, then use the up and down buttons to set the time. You have to work this out by trial and error as the user manual has very little information on operation. This microwave has very loud beeps but that doesn’t bother me. Features I like are the bright blue LED window which is very clear, and the ‘+30 second’ feature which is quick and useful.

No Samsung warranty at all. Forget about 2 years warranty.
Dont buy. 100% old stock and for my item purchased on 13 Aug 2025, upon registration with Samsung.com, saw that the warranty expired on 31 July 2024. Very very disappointing. Product wise its smaller than expected and dark on the inside.
