Willy's Wonderland - Collector's Edition 4K Ultra HD + Blu-ray [4K UHD]

My friends and I discovered this delightful film throwing something on in the background for game night. Wound up watching it thrice!

I liked this movie it’s not a serious movie and it’s not really campy but it’s just a small indie fun flick which I’m pretty sure the director or screenwriter wanted it to be a fnaf movie. Which is fine, Nicholas cage doesn’t speak one word in the movie and it just works. You don’t see this as much in horror movies but I love horror movies where the potential victim is more scarier than any demonic/ animatronic/ or serial killer, they just happen to be there. However in this case I’m not sure if the Nicholas cage was upset about the potential murder of himself or that the villains or antagonist are messing up his “job” or “gig”. I mean if I spent hours cleaning a bathroom and then had some spooky ghost writing with blood on the bathroom mirror- (where you get the blood ghost?) id be mad to. Also I was expecting their be a backstory for Nicholas cage like the murders ruined his birthday party when he was a small child but nope he’s a mysterious drifter which I don’t know if a backstory would have worked or not. He’s just there. I would have preferred some of the actors being cut and didn’t like the some parts which felt were just unnecessary and felt forced. I know it’s making fun of the teens in horror movie but ehh didn’t do anything new with it and wasn’t that fun either- they were just there. Its a good movie but don’t expect it to be the next big horror flick like Halloween or Friday the thirteenth or something like the rocky horror picture show. I just like to think the director had a set that needed to be cleaned so he hired Nicholas cage and just filmed a movie around it.

Love this movie. I bought it as a gift for a friend and she loved it to. Very funny role for Nicholas Cage as he never talks in the movie, I mean literally. I would say its not appropriate for young kids or maybe even some teens. It has foul language, sex scenes, and ideas of murder, cults, etc that are probably not meant for kids. Still a definitely funny movie even if you only watch it once.

At first,I was a little reluctant to see this movie when I saw the trailer,but now I'm glad I did. Ball pits,arcades,whimsical songs,pinball machines,psychotic anamotronics,and most of all,a hardcore loner of few words saving the day. In other words,a fantabulous place the world family can enjoy (if you're family were some friends who enjoy horror comedy movies as much you do). The only thing I didn't see here was some pizza being served. After all,what's a family entertainment center without some hot pizza to enjoy. But I digress,if you're into some horror comedy movies or curious about whether or not to give this movie a shot,you won't be disappointed. Suddenly I feel the need to go to Showbiz Pizza if anyone still remembers that place.

Talk about original. This is a story about a town that holds a horrible secret. They set traps to catch unsuspecting travelers in a quest to satiate the demands of a demonic host. The difference is the demon was once the proprietor of a children's restaurant featuring animatronic characters. The proprietor was caught doing horrible things and worshiping Satan. The townspeople burned him alive, but did not kill his evil spirit which preyed on the citizens long after. They were forced to bring new victims to the demonic host or fall victim themselves. Nicholas Cage is one of their offerings but the nearly mute janitor won't die without a fight. He turns out to be jacked up and crazy enough to take on all of the possessed Chucky Cheese like monsters. The townspeople try to stack the odds against him but an unhinged Cage will not be stopped. Just the premise kind of reminds me of " Five Nights At Freddy's:, I think they stole their premise from this movie. This is just all out madness in a good way.

It's definitely no award winner, but it's a fun and enjoyable movie. It has it's flaw, but that's because they knew what they were doing. They knew what they had and didn't try to take it too seriously. Which actually made it a great experience! If you're looking for something to fun to just kill the time, give this a shot!

Even though this came out a few years ago i wanted to purchase and watch it so i could compare it with the Fnaf movie. And even though it's defentily done with a lower budget than the fnaf movie it's not bad. It honestly reminds me of a old cheesy 80's movie. Acting is ok and the pratical effects are cool. So overall not bad. But i will say if your looking for a horror movie i defentily wouldn't classify it as one. It has uncanny moments but nothing to really scare you.

Great movie. Nicholas Cage is Amazing in this movie. I recommend for a fun night with friends or alone. Either way its an Great movie

We might have hit maximum Nicholas Cage - Willy's Wonderland, a Cage-centric take on the recent Chuck-E-Cheese/Banana Splits/Five Nights at Freddy's animatronic, lunch-monsters horror genre. Hair-dyed Nicholas Cage cleans a whole bunch of stuff; drinks soda, and kicks animatronic arse. Probably the closest film in spirit to this is Dog Soliders, which is a better film; but lacks the strange cage DNA and weird psychotropic use of light, music, and colour that makes this one so trippy. Most importantly it emphasizes the requirement to take regular breaks in your work environment. Your own mileage is going to vary wildly, but this film is so messed up it practically guarantees a good time.

Right off the bat, the similarities to FNAF are pretty obvious...So I think that's all that needs to be said about that. LOL That part aside, I really enjoyed this movie. If you're a fan of some of the movies Nic Cage has done lately, you will not be disappointed with this one. It has that nice mixture of gore, horror...and just pure insanity...most of that latter part coming from Cage. Amazing picture and sound quality on the Blu-Ray. If you want to watch a horror movie that's different and kind of "out there" You will NOT be disappointed with this movie.
