Nice heavy pure iron kadai retains heat uniformly, pleasure to cook in it especially south Indian porials and curries.Only you have to put in some effort to season it first till the black upper coating is removed fully. Good buy for traditional cooking in iron vessels.

Very good and useful kadai
I am writing this review after using appx 10 days. Excellent product. No sticking. Size as expected, finish from outside, inside and edge very good. Weight is lighter as compared to the size of 10 litre. Cooks fast as heat is evenly spread. Most importantly, no rusting till to date. It is something like my grandma's kadai which she used in my childhood days.

Rusty and heavy......
It is so Rusty...aftervwashing i tried sundrying it.Turned Rusty donno if it mixed with food as well...it's also heavy..High maintenance required for it..like as soon as the cooking is done u should be washing it,sundrying and applying a thin layer of any edible oil on it.Also,we have to choose a seperate place to keep this kadai since it will transfer it's rusty thing to other utensils...
