INACCURATE/NO MEASUREMENTS
I had a fitindex scale for the last 5 years and mone finally died. I replaced it with this one, with the extra hand held bmi reader, and the results at first refused to ready any body fat, the connection seemed to not be able to read fat, and kept sayong there were no body fat readings, and now the results have come back totally skewed once it finally did connect and get a reading through. These images that the app now includes, says that I have high muscle in my upper body and low muscle in my lower body. I live inside my body, regularly have to depend on my level of strength, and I can attest that I have VERY LOW upper body muscle/strength vs my lower body. My legs and core have always been the strongest part of me, even before I had spinal fusion surgeries that severed muscles in my back and upper body, further enforcing my opinion that this scale is reading inaccurately. Idk if fitindex is just 100% garbage quality now or what. I have already set up the return for it. But I will give it a few more weigh ins to see if the data shifts at all. The basic fitindex scaled without the handheld bmi reader is the one I had for years. I do not know if the new version of the basic is as good as my old one was, but if this new fancier version w handle doesn't straighten up, I will be trying the basic version again. and then if that does not measure up to the old models ability, I will be getting a new brand entirely. Good luck to you on your health journey.

Accurate, easy to use, and very informative
This smart body composition scale was simple to set up and works seamlessly with the app. Measurements sync quickly and provide helpful insights beyond just weight, including body composition metrics. The readings are consistent, and the app layout is easy to understand and track over time. I like being able to see trends and progress in one place. Great tool for anyone focused on health and fitness — highly recommend.

Weigh scale model FA-03
This will be long. So excited to get scale. Not so much now. My original scale and the one at the gym I work out at clock me in between 146/147. This scale however clocks me in at 152.6, today at 151.0 I bought this to track my body composition today it says I've lost some bodyfat and muscle mass. Please I hope the muscle mass is wrong I've been lifting weights like crazy. The scale give you measurements of your body girth. This needs to be fixed the measurements are off it claims my neck is 15"..... it is 13" my waist isn't pretty and your measurements say it's even bigger .....so 😔 . I'm trying desperately to reach customer service because the sticker on weigh platform say to calibrate before using but gives to instructions on how to do it. Website doesn't have manual for this scale model and the small manual shipped tell you to go to website for 😣 Edit: Have yet to hear from manufacturer 12/26 Edit: manufacturer responded, calibrated scale and it's weighing properly 👍 most measurements fall within the ones I pull from the measure tape....except neck and waist still. Weird but I'll live with it.

The extra/handheld electrodes are worth it
I bought this scale because I wanted a better estimate of my body fat and also wanted something that pairs with my fitbit. 1) Scale syncs seamlessly with my fitbit app 2) I believe the scale is providing a better estimate of my body fat percentage. With my previous scale, which only had electrodes for my feet, the current was mostly just passing through my legs. However, most of my fat is in my abdomen. With my old scale, I was getting 12-13% body fat, whereas with the FITINDEX I'm getting 17%, which I feel is more consistent with my overall appearance (fit but not athletic). Now I am better equipped to track my progress.

Not very accurate at all. Stressing my wife out.
Got this as a wedding gift for my now wife and I. I was mostly planning on using it for myself as I’m trying to work out and gain muscle mass but it varies widely in accuracy on even just the weight alone. At one point I was having trouble getting it to connect to my phone and it was showing 136 lb for me as I was trying to take my measurement. I flipped it over, took the battery out and put it back in to reset it assuming that might be causing the connectivity issue. It did fix the connectivity but my weight jumped up to 142lb! So which one was it? I guess I’ll never know but over 5lb of difference in 10 seconds is massive imo and not worth the investment at all.

Do NOT trust this scale
I purchased this scale in June of 2024, shortly after I started a campaign to lose quite a bit of weight. While I didn't expect the numbers to be completely accurate, I did expect them to be somewhat reasonable. I can attest that the weight seems to be correct, but one of the biggest things that I wanted to know about was my visceral fat level. Since this is the fact that surrounds your organs, it is an extremely important number in terms of health and longevity. A few months ago, June or July 2025 I had a DEXA scan done. my visceral fat is 1.28 pounds. This scale says that my visceral fat is an 11. It doesn't give it in pounds, it's kind of a composite number that actually doesn't mean much especially when it's registering my visceral fat level as high. When in actuality my visceral fat is quite low. due to this and other factors it's giving my metabolic age as 60 years old, when that is absolutely not true. If I had known how incredibly off and wrong the visceral fat and almost every other number that this scale gives is also wrong, I would not have spent the money on it. I could've gotten a much simpler scale that just gave me an accurate weight reading, and saved months of worry that things were not changing in the desired direction except for my weight. It does give a correct BMI but that's because I've programmed my height and age into my profile on the app. And since BMI is an antiquated and inaccurate way to gauge somebody's overall health it really doesn't matter much. I would absolutely not purchase this scale again, and I do *not* recommend it.
