Esschert Design FY18 Crow Scare Decoy, Black, Krähe

My daughter moved into her new flat in Vauxhall - with a fantastic balcony overlooking Father Thames. But it was covered in pigeon poop and looked like a regular hang out for the local pigeon. Fitted it discretely - and she has not had a pigeon visitor - and more importantly any of their messy offerings - in three weeks. It is just visible enough to let the pigeons know the crow is there - so they don't come any more. I thought the crow looked rather plain and matt black; my daughter thought it looked scary. Various ways of attaching it, whether on the ballustrade / railing, bench or even a plant pot.

Good product does not alway scare pigeons but hardly any pigeon poo on balcony since purchase.

I have had problems with a vandalising crow who is in the habit of pecking out large pieces of wood from my studio doors. I tried this decoy crow but within a couple of hours all I was left with was the feet. It certainly did not deter the crow and I have resorted to other devices to deflect this vandalising corvid. I have found putting a mannequin and moving it round whilst replacing all the door handles with ones that it cannot perch on have worked so far.

I read many reviews of many products before settling on this one, but it's clear that there is no 'stand out' pigeon scarer. However, the fact is that this one seems to be working for me, keeping pigeons off my flat's balcony. I'm very pleased with it, it looks ominous and I'd totally recommend it.

Did not work for our pigeon problem

Was a bit sceptical but thought I'd give this a go, for the price. Works great. Pigeons wont come near my beds now. Hopefully they dont get wise to it. It's a simple plastic mold. I've just stuck it into the soil. The legs were not too sturdy so I didnt bother with them.

Before this plastic bird arrived, I had to shoo away pigeons from my 4th floor terrace most days, often several times a day. I fitted the crow to the top bar of my terrace railing on 2 March 2019, since when no pigeons have landed on my terrace at all. A seagull landed once to have a close inspection, and so did a crow, presumably out of curiosity, but that's been all. Once fitted it is extremely difficult to remove and replace elsewhere; at least I find it difficult, but since no pigeons have come near my terrace, I see no reason to move it.

De vogel is heel licht en moet goed vastgemaakt worden met kabelbinders!!! Ik kocht hem niet om de duiven weg te jagen maar omdat ik hem mooi vond ...

Je mets un 5 car ça fonctionne bien. Les pigeons n'approchent plus ma fenêtre même lorsqu'il est derrière la vitre.
