I ordered these tart rings because I thought they would motivate me to do more baking for my family. Because they are so versatile with what you can use them for, I have enjoyed the creativity that they inspire. So far, I have made a variety dozen of fruit tarts to please everyone’s preference. It actually took almost the same amount of time to make 4 apple tarts, 4 peach tarts, and 4 blackberry tarts, as it would have to make one larger one with one type of fruit only. Their small size let me easily freeze some for later. I have also made granola cookies and being able to quickly plop and press the crumbly mixture and keep it contained within the ring, made it much easier than shaping mounds by hand. They have also worked very well with pre-baking empty crusts to use later. Before using them, I was a bit concerned that baked items might not release cleanly but with a quick spritz of cooking spray, this has not been an issue. The rings are easy to clean as you would with any other baking container and the set takes up little storage space. For me, this set of baking rings is fun to use and has been convenient as an added bonus. I am glad I made this order.
