Can I use 110 lbs.braid if so how many yards max?

I use 50 an 60 on mine it's a small caster

Has anyone paired the brutus with and ul or light thinking of making a setup for small ponds?

The Brutus reel should be no problem, it is very smooth. With a light line it should be fine if you can find a rod with vey light action. I currently have 20 pound Kastking Destron and it is only .009” in diameter so Destron in 4-6 pounds should do fine. I think the reel is fine just find a very light action rod that will balance well.

Is it okay to use in saltwater?

Hubby said it could be used in saltwater but has to be thoroughly rinsed after each use. Otherwise the magnets and other internal parts will start rusting and salt accumulation will hinder the use.
