I would have left a review sooner, but I just now used it. Now that I have used it, I can say it does what it says it does, It dies all the hair black. I would recommend it and the fact that it's multiuse it's like having an ace as a kicker.

I can't comment on how long the coverage will last but will be back to do that. First, it's very convenient. There are very short and simple instructions on the side of the box. No huge piece of paper with 20 paragraphs of tiny instructions. It comes with a set of gloves which I opted not to use but they are nice. They are soft and thick and better than the cheap ones that come in the name-brand dye box kits. All you do is screw off the cap and screw on the applicator comb. I will say that the tube is sealed and there is no easy way to get that seal off. I had to use a knife. That was the hardest thing about using this product. The dye itself has a nice consistency. It's not really runny but you do have to be careful to not squeeze out too much or too quickly. The dye oozes out through the comb. The comb is of nice plastic and it distributes the dye very nicely into your hair. It was simple and quick. This tube will last me for 3 applications so it's a great bargain. I was worried that it would be difficult to clean the dye out of the comb applicator because I would be using it again. I shouldn't have worried because it rinsed out easily. I waited 30 minutes and washed my hair and it rinsed out much like any other dye I've used in the past. When done my hair looks wonderful. Total coverage and I'm very pleased.

I color my hair often - each time I do, I don't really stick to a particular shade, I usually get whatever is brownish/chestnut and on sale. I do like that this hair color had great coverage and less chemicals, but for me it faded a bit too quickly. I'm not deducting any stars though because ALL of the hair color I have used in the past has done the same. I didn't get many shiny highlights with this either. BUT due to the fact that it is a probably that is a bit more natural, I do appreciate that it has kept my hair healthier.

My roots is gray in my Locs. I used the natural black product and I followed instructions in every order. It left my hair blue looking and didn’t cover my entire hair. I wish I can wash this out my hair but now I’m stuck with this in my hair into it fades away hopefully.

It is written in script on the photo of the box in the product listing. I would like to see that information prominently displayed. It's the most important thing to know about hair color. This comes packaged in attractive, tamper evident packaging. The box is completely shrink wrapped. It has simple easy-to-read instructions with photographs on the side of the box. The black text on a crisp, white background is easy to read. This Biogreen hair color doesn't contain ammonia or peroxide. It does contain propylene glycol which may be an issue for those with sensitive skin or eczema. This product uses Resorcinol as a bonding agent. Resorcinol is toxic in high does. It also contains phenylenediamine and other chemicals which I strongly suggest researching before deciding to use this (or any) hair color product. To use, attach the comb-in applicator and apply to roots as needed. Wait 30 minutes and rinse out thoroughly. No mixing needed. This box contains gloves. I highly recommend wearing gloves when using this or any hair color product. This hair color is a very thick gel. It was easy to apply to my roots at first, but I have waist length hair that is all one length, and after awhile I just used the gloves instead of the applicator tip to massage the color in because it kept tangling in my hair. There was enough color to do my whole head. I usually use IGK Brown Bella (Rich Chocolate Brown) color depositing mask. This Biogreen Brown Hair Color turned out to be an almost perfect match. It is a very dark warm chocolate brown. This information, along with a color chart (if your hair is currently [color name and photo] your results will be [photo]) needs to be added. If I'm going to commit to permanent color I want to know what results to expect. I have some color-resistant grays, about 15%, with about 4" of outgrowth in my naturally dark brown hair. The rest is faded professionally applied permanent color. I left this on for 45 minutes and it covered all but one streak of gray at my temple at about 80%, leaving the gray strands reddish-brown. They still "sparkle" just not as much. I am not sure if leaving this product on longer would have given 100% coverage. This is an area where the instructions could be improved. Also, it should be noted that results on natural, uncolored hair will be different than on color treated hair. Color treated hair will soak up more color giving different results. This was my first experience with permanent hair color in over 20 years. The results were ok. I didn't get the gray coverage I wanted, but my hair is shiny. I am not sure how much color is included in a full application kit vs. one meant for a root touch-up. This product was $14.39. Depending on the cost of a full application and the amount of product included (if I had to purchase two kits to cover my entire head) it would be more cost effective to go to a local beauty college and have my hair colored professionally.
