*update 2/18/23*It's only been a little over a month but WOW. This stuff is the real deal I absolutely love it. I have left it in for 2 days before. My side balding areas from wearing high ponies constantly? Starting to fill in. I even put this in my brows because I accidentally plucked wrong hairs and had a hole. It grew back in like 1.5 weeks. I love how thick the oil is, I can slick my hair back into a pony and it stays w no hair spray needed. It smells really earthy and homey and refreshing. I still have 1/2 a bottle left which I wasn't sure I would. My gray hairs are coming in so fast and often and it's all new growth . I put a little bit in my hair dye as well and it helped protect my hair. I just really love this and I hope it doesn't discontinue ever.1/4/23 I have very thick straight hair. (1B-1-C). My hair has thinned with aging & lifestyle, so I have been using rosemary oil for quite awhile. I use Mielle Rosemary drops. They work nice. But let me tell you...this product HITS. I've been wanting something a bit juicier, thicker, and sticky. I found this on a whim and I am impressed. I really love this oil for pulling. I have always oiled my hair but never knew the origin and have enjoyed learning of its origination in India and how it has been used since throughout the world. Thank you for this beautiful oil. It's thick with some slight stickiness but it absorbed beautifully into my hair and skin. I will keep updating as needed. I just received today. I have used Soulflower’s oils for a few years now. I do like the convenience of buying the products already mixed, so I’m happy with this oil. It’s normal for coconut oil to harden in cooler temperatures. When that happens, it’s more difficult to get the contents out of the container. You might want to pour the oil into something wider like a plastic container. That way, you can just use a little spoon to pour some of the oil into the palm of your hand. I give this product a 3-4 star because depending on your hair situation, it can be annoying figuring out how to extract the oil from the bottle. For people complaining about the “black stuff” on the bottom, that’s the herb. It separates from the oil a bit, so you should always shake the bottle (like oil-based salad dressing). In all, I say that if you have major issues with hair loss, keep trying this product with your supplements and biotin shampoo. If you decide to buy the herb only, it’s a powder and can be messy. On the other hand, you can make your own scalp treatment/paste with it. For those of you who want to try that, just deconstruct the ingredients from this bottle, I guess. But I use coconut oil, the herb powder, aloe vera, and essential oils. I hope that helps.

After postpartum I was dealing with so much hair fall. I thought it’s time I will go completely bald (not exaggerating) and I also colored my hair around 1 month after delivery so my hair was super rough. By the time it was 2 months after I got my hair colored I felt like grass on my head, so dry and lifeless and I even if I touch my hair 100’s of hair strands were falling .. then my mom recommended soul flower hair oil and I purchased here..Honestly after 2-3 uses my hair started getting softer. Now after 1 month use my hair feels much softer than normal.. I highly highly recommend this oil.. my hair fall was controlled (not immediately but slowly) and my hair quality increased a lot.For hair regrowth you can try other remedies, am trying with onion but this definitely keeps your scalp clean and hair quality to next level. 5 stars!!

This oil was a complete disappointment. Despite being advertised as “100% pure” and “organically certified,” the texture is extremely thick, sticky, and greasy. It’s almost impossible to wash out, even after multiple shampoos, and it leaves the hair feeling heavy and coated rather than nourished.After weeks of consistent use, there was no improvement in hair fall, thickness, or growth. If anything, it made my hair feel weighed down and look dull. The rosemary scent is also overpowering and lingers in an unpleasant way.The bottle design is another issue it leaks easily, the cap doesn’t seal well, and the oil drips down the sides every time it’s used. For a product marketed as a strengthening and volumizing treatment, it fails on every front.Definitely not worth the money. I would not recommend this for dry, damaged, curly, or thinning hair.

Extremely irritating to my scalp. itched and caused bumps. Asked friends who are into oils and they said castor oil should not be applied with a diluting agent. Use with caution. Maybe it's better for nails etc.? It smells lovely and is beautifully packaged. Wish it worked for me. Expense for no returns. :(UPDATE: I'm giving this company another star because their polite customer service folks reached out and offered to send me a different oil of theirs known to help with hair growth for free. This really helps with the disappointment of not being able to return the other item, and it also demonstrates that they care that you are satisfied. Thanks, Soulflower! :)

I suffer from alopecia and I have been wasting money down the drain with all these false promises to help my hair grow back until I found this product. At first I was scared and said to myself just give up, it’s just another company that wants my money but it’s not!!! This product is growing my hair back. I get so emotional just talking about my hair loss but now it’s over. This product grows people hair with alopecia. I looooooovvvvvvveeeeeeee this product and I’m still going to use this product even though my hair is growing because I want it to continue to grow!!!!!! I love this product!!!! I also purchased the other one with ylang ylang I use them both. I’m going to keep buying there product forever. And they both smell good. P.s I use African Shea butter also to make my hair stuff. If you have questions on how I use the product just ask. I’m not perfect I just apply it to my scalp and hair over night rinse it in the morning and apply she’s butter. Repeat the process every other day.

I've been dealing with dry scalp for a while now, and nothing seems to do the trick. I've tried apple cider vinegar, coconut oil, and even medicated shampoos...I tried the Rosemary Castor Oil and within 1 week, my scalp was itch free! I'm on my second week and I haven't been exhibiting any symptoms of a dry scalp. I used it at least 2x a week. The consistency is fairly thick, so I would recommend mixing it with another oil. I applied a little on each fingertip and massaged into my scalp and left overnight so I could really let it work its magic. Another great thing is that it smells fairly pleasant. (I've tried Neem Oil from a different brand and boy that was STRONG!) The bottle size is also great for the price that is listed... it should last for a while, even with frequent usage.

Been using this 2 month's and my hair fall has decreased. The smell is not as bad as people are making out. It's a herby smell with a hint of onion. I use it overnight before washing my hair. I massage it on scalp only. I lay and old towel down on my pillow and use a head wrap so smell doesn't transfer. Growing the dyed ends out and my hair has more volume and people comment how shiny my hair is (un-dyed at the top). Easy package, pump is great. Reliable delivery, would highly recommend!

Use this product and left it overnite but the foul smell did not let me sleep and have to shower middle of the nite. This is ok if you sleep alone coz of the really bad smell.
