This is a great book. Straight to the point and easy to understand practicle guide for celebrating biblical holy days. Barney Kashdan did a great job putting this book together for those whom want to learn about the Holy day celebrations.I like also it has the practical guide and applications in this book also. It includes recipes, songs, prayers and scripture readings for the Holy days. Its not exhausted text either. Thats why I love this book so I can use it for the Holy days ad my guide. I'm new in Messianic and this is a great practical guide for me as I'm new at understanding of the celebrations. Great beginners book or those whom forgot how to celebrate the Holy days. A must buy.

Great book! Worth the read.
I wanted to teach my congregation about the fall biblical feasts, invested in a few books to help. By far, this book was the clearest and the easiest to use for myself. It gave me a greater understanding of the fall biblical feasts and how to share it with others.

easily informative
This is an easy read and even easier understanding of the Biblical Feasts and their relevance to Yeshua ha Mashiach. Detailing the history of each festival, current Jewish traditions and how Messianic people today can celebrate, Rabbi Kasdan encourages readers to consider each holiday's importance individually and as a whole. Very informative without being complicated descriptions as well as recipes, songs and craft ideas, this book is a must-have for those who have a desire to partake in the joys of celebrating Biblical holidays!

This book is a great book to understand the Biblical holidays
This book is great to understand the Biblical holidays, and how relevant they are today, even for the Christian believer. The author has included the historical background, the traditional Jewish observance, the New Testament observance, the prophetic fulfillment, and a practical guide for observing the holiday for believers in Messiah. He also includes crafts for kids, recipes, and some music of traditional songs sung at the holiday. I think that in today's Christian church, there is very little understanding of the Old Testament and how it connects with the New Testament. We quote Matthew 5:17, "“Do not think that I came to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I did not come to abolish but to fulfill." But in practice, we act like the Old Testament is not relevant, and often disregard it. This book helps make that connection between the NT and the OT in a real and practical way. Great resource! I highly recommend the book!

SO MUCH EXPLAINED
This book is wonderful. The author explains the meaning of the Feasts of Israel, the Feasts that God commanded, and how they picture the future in Jesus Christ. Once you read this, a little light bulb will come over your head and you will wonder why you never heard sermons or Sunday School lessons about this. Everything God does has a purpose, a message, and a meaning; and these Feasts point one who makes any effort to understand, straight to Jesus. Clears up so many questions. It is easy to read and understand. You don't have to be super educated to understand.

God's Appointed Times
This book gives information on God's Appointed times in the calendar, in a way that The Church can understand and if you want to celebrate these times there are food, drink and scripture references. I find that this book opens up great understanding about why these times are so important and puts them in context with the scriptures. Today I learned that when Jesus went to the Synagogue on the day that He revealed to his village who He was, it was Yon Kippur, Day of Atonement and Isaiah 61 was the chapter read on that day in His time, so He was handed that chapter to read, the chapter that reveals who He is. Now the Jewish people do not read Isa. 61 but Isa. 58 on that day. The book is easy to read and understand.

A Messianic viewpoint on the Jewish holidays
I found this book very helpful in learning about the Jewish(Bible) holidays. When I started going to a Messianic synagogue, there was a lot I didn't know about the holidays, especially since I was a Gentile, and this book was a great help. If you are interested in these Biblical holidays check this book out. I have now been with this congregation for almost 8 years. I purchash this book to give to new visitors.

Loved it!
I was so excited to discover the ways in which the Jesus and the New Testament fulfill the Hebrew feasts. The future they point to is equally fascinating.

short and sweet
For a small book it packs a mighty punch. It examines the nitty gritty of the major feasts of HaShem as outlined in Leviticus 23, as well as discussing the sabbath, hannukah and purim.Whilst the book does not go into a great deal of depth regarding the subjects at hand, it does provide a cursory introduction sufficient for building a simple knowledge base. That said the book is up front in that it points out that head knowledge is not enough, and the mentality should be 'taste and see that HaShem is good'.For this reason, I would recommend this book for any non-Jews looking to learn about the feasts and use it as a spring board to greater learning. For those wanting more depth see other books on my list.
