- 15.7" Camping Hatchet with Leather Sheath and Axe Sharpening Stone

This hatchet is more of a hand axe, which is great if you’re looking to primarily split wood for a campfire. It’s heavy with a thick handle. This is what I was hoping for so I’m very satisfied. It comes with a sheath, kinda light weight but it covers the blade. As far as sharpness goes it’s very sharp right out of the box. It also comes with a whetstone for resharpening. Overall a good purchase especially for the price.

First impressions are very good. Well made handle. Axe head is thick all the way to the edge of the blade. Blade is sharp, but not too sharp, just right for an axe. Metal seems good quality. I have not used it yet, but will be extremely surprised if it does not function as well as it looks. Sheath is well made.

Very nice product for the price. I would recommend to friends.

This axe, no, it is a hatchet.an example of an axe is ; a felling axe, a wood splitting axe. Ok, now that I have that out of the way, the hatchet head is designed well , and the 1055 steel is soft enough to tske all the shock it will receive from striking dry wood . The handle, however. (The one I received anyway) has the grain giong the wrong way, it is perpindicular to the head and working edge. I took it upon myself to order a handle with the correct grain pattern. And at 19.75" long. I will probably purchase another head like this one amd put a 16" handle on it. I like the longer cutting edge of 5.8". Other than the handle , no issues.

I don't know who makes this thing, but I know a good product when I get it in my hands. After approx. 25yrs field exp. I finally came to hard terms with what I want from a camp/ field hatchet, determined the specs, and eventually cared enough to see if this world offers anything like what I want. Well, this hatchet is it. Akin to a Norse bearded axe, this hatchet has the blade size & design, and overall length within my 14-16" range that I've been looking for. I'd spew hate if this was a bad deal - but it's actually a fine quality tool and an absurdly good deal. Human history took 6k years to finally make this axe. 'Nuff said. I'm pleased.

It looks like the real thing, the blade is hard, yeehaa

I recently picked up the 15.7” Hatchet Axe for camping, and it’s been great! The hand-forged blade is sharp and handles chopping, splitting, and even carving with ease. The beech handle is comfortable and sturdy, making it easy to use for extended periods. It also comes with a handy sheath for safe storage. I’ve used it for everything from bushcraft to garden work, and it’s performed well every time. Pros: Sharp, durable, comfortable handle, great for multiple tasks. Cons: A little heavy for beginners, needs occasional maintenance. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable hatchet for anyone who spends time outdoors. Highly recommend!

So it does what I need it to do so thats cool and it looks the same as picture so thats also cool but not very good craftsmanship. The wood right beneath the head is splintered out from being inpocorrectly fitted i assume

If you’re looking for a solid camping axe, this one is definitely worth considering. I brought it on a trip last week, and it was a game-changer for chopping firewood. The blade is sharp and cuts through logs with ease, and the balance makes every swing feel smooth and controlled. It has a sturdy wooden handle that feels comfortable to hold, and the craftsmanship gives it that rugged, reliable feel. One thing I really appreciate is the leather sheath—it’s a nice touch that keeps the blade protected when not in use. After putting it to good use, I can say it’s built to last. Whether you need it for camping, bushcraft, or just prepping firewood, this axe won’t let you down. Highly recommend it for anyone who wants a dependable tool for the outdoors!

Was a little hesitant because of the price, but wow, this thing is gorgeous. Handle is smooth and polished, with a nice shine to it. Solid weight, great balance—just holding it feels good. The leather sheath is also top-notch—great quality, well-made, and adds a premium touch. I got to split some firewood. Oh man, it’s really sharp! Slices through wood like butter, no struggle at all. Super satisfying to use. Can’t wait to take it camping this summer. Definitely a great buy!

Axehead came loose, risky to use. The build quality is great, and the real wood handle is really nice, but my particular hatchet came with a loose axehead. I have tested it and it does still work, but it wears down the wood and can potentially fall off in the future, so it is not very effective. Edit: thankfully product support reached out to me, and I was able to get a full refund.

Was supprised, dont feel cheep, nice that it also came with a stone.. handle is a bit loose. Came with extra wedges so im not worried. Nice sheith, good rivits. Cant confirm if its real leather, lookes like it but dosnt smell like it.. 4 stars for loose handle, and i cant comment on metal quality.

This hatchet is awesome! It’s super sharp, well-balanced, and looks really stylish too. The beech handle feels solid and comfortable, and the sheath is a nice bonus. Perfect for camping, outdoor work, or just keeping in the backyard!
