Went from Meh to Must Have!
I’ll admit, the first few times I tried this balm, I wasn’t too sure about it. I found it a little challenging to spread evenly and didn’t love that it left my shower floor greasy when I rinsed the excess off. That being said, I’ve loved the effect it’s had on my skin so much that I’ve kept using it. And after just a few months, it’s become one of my favorite parts of my skincare routine! A little goes a long way. I grab maybe enough to cover the first finger joint of 4 fingers if that makes sense (so just a little scoop with your finger tips). I rub that together in my hands *really* well and then I kind of pat it everywhere I want it. From there, I rub it in and then give it a quick rinse after I feel I’ve distributed it evenly. Once out of the shower, I pat dry to keep the balm in place. The improvement I’ve noticed in my skin’s hydration alone is worth continuing to use this product. But the way it looks so healthy now! It does genuinely glow after I pat dry and it stays that way the whole day. Living in a high elevation, dry climate, having hydrated and glowy skin is actually a real challenge to manage. I think the price is reasonable for how long this first jar has lasted (about 3mo of daily use and I have about a third left). The unscented version is my jam and it is truly unscented - no hint of anything. It makes an awesome base for your scented moisturizers and perfumes. I’ll definitely be rebuying this and may even subscribe because it’s become such an integral part of my morning routine. Highly recommend!

Hanni is the best!
I literally panic when I run low on Hanni splash salve. It’s amazingly easy to use in the shower and fabulously effective if you’re looking for smooth, well moisturized skin that lasts all day with no effort. It may not have the hype of some other brands but it’s better than all of them. As an endorsement of quality ingredients and product reliability, it’s telling that this is the one Sephora carries. I can’t live without it

Love it!
Love this stuff! I got the scented version. I’m not usually a scented product person. I’m sensitive to scents. So far I like all the scents of Hanni’s products. I asked my husband what it smelled like and he just said “it smells clean and fresh”. It does have a slight floral scent, but it doesn’t smell obnoxiously artificial. I’m one of those people who hate slathering on lotion after a shower. I hate feeling greasy. This product solves both of those problems. I use a pea sized amount at a time. I find that works better than one larger blob. Smaller amounts are easier to spread around evenly. When I tried starting with a larger amount it is harder to evenly distribute it around to all my limbs. Using smaller amounts also prevents getting too much and feeling greasy. I haven’t had any issues with it making the shower greasy. I don’t think it’s over priced either. The tub will last a long time. My skin feels and looks great. Definitely putting it on subscribe and save. An easy solution to keeping your skin moisturized. It absorbs well and quickly.

My favorite beauty find in a long time!
My favorite beauty find in a LONG time. Actually worth the hype. Putting on lotion after a shower is just another thing to do these days, but I can put this on while my conditioner sits and do a quick rinse (don’t scrub) and get out of the shower feeling moisturized and easy to go. I have super sensitive skin and have had no issues with the unscented salve. It will also probably last me months as a little seems to go a long way - great value for the price.

Innovative Luxury Meets Practicality as Moisturizer
⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ Splash Salve is one of my favorite beauty discoveries in a long time! I had never used an in-shower body moisturizer before, and this completely changed my mind. As soon as I massaged the balm onto my wet skin, it emulsified with the water into the most luxurious, silky cream. It glided effortlessly over my legs and body and turned moisturizing into one of the most relaxing and indulgent parts of my shower instead of another step afterward. After I patted dry, my skin felt exceptionally soft, smooth, and deeply moisturized without feeling heavy or greasy. I’ll definitely continue using it. The only reason I’m giving four instead of five stars is the packaging. This isn’t unique to Hanni. I have the same concern with any balm packaged in a wide-mouth jar. With long nails, it’s difficult to scoop out a controlled amount, product collects under my nails, and the lid and rim become messy very quickly. On my first use, I also found myself using more product than I probably needed simply because it was hard to gauge the right amount. I’d love to see Hanni introduce a twist-top dispensing system that releases the perfect amount of balm with each use. It would reduce waste, keep the container cleaner, and make the packaging feel every bit as luxurious as the incredible formula. If they ever make that change, this would easily become a five-star product for me.

Wax like texture on body, but leaves body really moisturizing
I love it, but it feels like you are putting wax on your body at 1st also it takes a min to rub in. But it’s worth it, I use it at night only

So close, but not enough
I wanted to love this balm so much but I just can’t. It smells great and it does feel moisturizing when you first get out of the shower. Plus the convenience of not having to lotion after a shower is great! However, I have relatively dry skin and I noticed this doesn’t leave me moisturized for long. And if I do really lather it for extra moisture, it feels greasy and leaves greasy residue behind on things. Plus given the price point, unfortunately I will not be buying again.

Smells amazing, feels amazing, and most importantly, it actually moisturizes your skin
It is ridiculous how good the scented one smells. Similar to a rose scent but not overpowering at all. I have 2 layering perfumes I use (one rose scented, one fig-bergamot scented) that layer over this beautifully without clashing. The price is a little steep, but it’s a luxury item worth buying if you’re trying to treat yourself. I have very sensitive, eczema-prone skin, and this product hasn’t seemed to trigger it despite that I went with the scented option. The consistency is thick but easy enough to use, kind of like whipped coconut oil or shea butter. I recommend grabbing a generous blob and putting it on the top of the lid, then applying it in sections from there. It seems to absorb fine and I haven’t had issues with it getting my clothes oily. I’d just recommend following the instructions on the box and rinsing a little after applying. If you use it every day, you’ll run out quickly, but I’d treat it more as an intensive skin conditioner and use it a few times per week if you want to make it last.

Great in shower moisturiser
Absolutely love this product! Haven't seen anything else like it on the market. It has a lovely scent. You just need to rub it in your hands to soften it before applying it on your skin in the shower. My skin feels so soft and moisturised after. It's great for when you're in a rush and you don't want to apply moisturiser after and wait to dry. Just wish is was more readily available in the UK at a lower price point as it's cheaper in the US.

Useless
Quite pleased but useless. Does not retain moisture. Waste of money

Disappointment
I thought this to be an over priced version of a salve used on babies. Save your money.
