Arrived quickly and nicely packaged. Comprehensive instructions, albeit, the parts are self-explanatory, so, the instructions are not really necessary. I used the car vent option and the clamp as well as the magnet are sufficiently strong to reliably hold my iPhone 14 Max Pro in place even during the off-road run. Takes about 30 seconds to install. A caveat - this fits my Toyota 4Runner vent, it may not be usable with some other vent configurations. My suggestion to the manufacturer would be to perhaps produce a line of clamps that fit different vent configurations and provide a buyer with a choice of the package based on the particular vehicle make, model and year. Charging time is good. Have used it for over a month and the experience is steady. The fact that unlike some other devices that are hardwired, this one plugs in over C-USB port, so, if the cable goes bad, as often happens with chargers, you can replace the cable and continue using the device. One thing that needs to be understood. ALL magnetic chargers and holders, no matter how strong the magnets are won’t reliably hold if you are using a thick phone case. I would suggest investing a few dollars into a MagSafe compatible case for your mobile device that has the inbuilt magnetizable ring. Otherwise, you’d need to take your phone out of the case for a reliable hold and that’s, obviously not desirable. Another UX suggestion to the manufacturer. Instead of the blue LED on the side of the charger, in the future product development, use that LED to highlight the logo in the center and the magnetic ring - that would look really cool and make it intuitive for the users to dock their mobile device.

This car mount is really nice and the build quality is super snazzy. The magnets are POWERFUL! The mount has two methods for attachment: the temporary one clips securely to an air vent, and the more permanent one is to use a 3M mounting strip to attach to the dash. For the air vent option, it is a little obstructing of the air vent, but in the Texas summer heat, it’s not a bad thing to have cold air blowing on a charging phone since that’s when the tend to overheat. A little worried about that option for winter though, because you shouldn’t really have hot air blowing on it, so I’d have to completely turn off that vent making it useless except to hold my phone. For the mounting version, I haven’t tried this out yet because I don’t know how my wife feels about making that permanent decision to attach something to her car (that we share, but I always drive for us). And it looks like you can only attach to a mostly horizontal surface instead of a vertical one because of the shape of the mount base. It will otherwise only allow you to tilt in three directions instead of four the way it is designed. I don’t know about having a phone obscuring the windshield… The supplied cord is nice, black rubbery, no frills, seems solid. Has a Velcro wrap on it that you can fully remove or replace on the cord if desired. The magnet (MagSafe compatible)! OMG! It is power and it hits me deep how satisfying the plop of the phone is hitting the mount (with MagSafe compatible case [using ESR one at the moment]). I don’t always use it to charge because my car has Apply CarPlay and it has to plug in for me to use it for music and navigation and such, but it’s great to just use to hold my phone available, but not floating around trying to remember where I tucked it or where it ran off to while I’m driving. Qi2, so it’s fast and reliable to charge. Overall, this is a good buy.

I have really enjoyed my ESR mount. I just use the vent clamp and it works wonders. It’s been a game changer of convenience for me! Unfortunately, the plastic on the arm snapped off after just a few months of usage, but I have to give credit to the company, they shipped me out a new one immediately. I was able to initiate the customer support through my Amazon order page and it seamlessly linked to me to their website. I simply uploaded a couple photos of the damage with a small description and before I knew it they were sending me out a replacement. I reckon maybe five days total from the time it broke to the time I got my replacement.

Okay, I say impulse buyers because I can be one and admit that a purchased this product a little blindly without thinking or doing my research. I do like the product, I would buy again and also recommend to others. However, here are some things that may be helpful to consider. 1. It comes rather nicely packaged and even offers an option for mounting on your dash with an adhesive backed holder. They even supply a cleaning wipe and a drying wipe to prepare the surface. I don’t like using adhesives in my car (just a preference) so I did not try it. 2. To put the charger together you unscrew the top cap where the little roller ball is inserted, and then snap together and tighten the cap back. I know that was not super insightful but, hopefully you’ll get it if purchased. 3. I have a GMC SUV. I thought this would be helpful when traveling to see alerts that pop up. However, I found this product to be a waste in that vehicle based on my wants. My vents are angled towards the driver and my gear shift is on the steering wheel. So there is no good place for me to hook this and be able to see, as well as not interfere with the gear shift. Also, I use my phone for directions by plugging it into my cars outlet and then it is displayed on the screen of my car. When using this it is just a charger as you would still need to plug the phone into the car to utilize the on-screen directions. This seems like a waste in my opinion as you are hooking into the car battery twice. . You may be able to use Bluetooth if that works for you and not have to plug the phone directly into the car. 4. I am using this product in an older model car and it works great. The vent mount has a stabilizing feature that helps to keep it from flopping around. I have had a little wobble interfere with the charging for a second here and there but nothing annoying. 5. The magnet is strong and holds my pro max just fine. I have not had any issues with charging speed - not a speed charger but, pretty standard results.

I honestly loved this item a lot because of the strong magnet and the price to performance. It is also super easy to adjust and holds the phone with a lot of stability, however the product broke. I have only had the product for about a month and the item has already snapped. Similar to another reviewer, on the back of the magnet the connecting piece for the holding mechanism broke off. I’m currently trying to super glue the backing back on but if it doesn’t work I’ll be forced to buy another one. I have yet to decide whether or not if I’ll buy this exact brand/item again since it seems like it has a history of it this type of thing occurring. I want this to work though because all in all it would have been a 5/5 product for me. I just thought the other reviewer was unlucky but I’m starting to think it might be a product issue.

First of all, let me say out of transparency that the charger did not work properly for me. For whatever reason (that might be related to the charger itself or to my car plug), it kept the battery at the same level but did not charge more. This is an USB-C charger and needs an USB-C plug. Keep that in mind if you have an older car, you might need an adapter (which is cheap and easily found on Amazon). That was my case and I assume it works way better if you have the right plug in the car already (seems most reviews says it works like a charm). That being said - the product itself is very sturdy and the quality is great. It was very well packaged, and the materials seem very high quality. The suction works amazingly - as long as you remember to use your phone bare, or with a Magsafe case (which I have bought separately, and it works like a charm). I drive a lot on New York roads which are mostly incredibly bumpy, the phone never fell. The charging thing was obviously an issue for me, but their customer support is TERRIFIC. They responded promptly via WhatsApp and promptly offered refund / exchange for what could have been a defective product or an unrelated issue. No question - they are here to help and were truly amazing. If you are not 100% sure, at least you know that you have literally 0 risk if it does not work properly for your configuration. Again, the charging did not work for me, but I would recommend them 100%. I ended up charging through a separate cable - the support itself even without wireless charging is probably worth the price anyway! And considering the numerous reviews where it works, I believe it might as well just be due to my car not having a USB-C plug...

Had it for less than a year and it broke, I took the phone off the holder and somehow the plastic part broke. No way to fix. To be clear I really liked these, I have one for my car, its been working fine. This one was in my wife's car. If only this was a built a bit strong?

This item works as advertised. I’m using it with an iPhone8 (in 2024…I know. I like to use stuff as long as I can), and with a magnetic case (purchased from another manufacturer) this charger holds it securely and the charging works. Those are the PROS, and I think they are enough to recommend this product. The CONS: - It just barely keeps up with the phone’s power usage when listening to music via Bluetooth and using maps for navigation. I know the 12v lighter adapter I use can do better since I’ve used it plugged directly into this phone and it will complete the charge even while using the Bluetooth and navigation. But it may be that the iPhone8 isn’t capable of charging faster through wireless charging. I don’t know, so take this CON with a grain of salt. - I used the adhesive mounting option, mounted to a very slightly curved surface and it was very difficult to get the mounting pad to conform to the slight curvature long enough to stick. So there is an open gap along the middle of one side. It seems like it will still stay put though. I had a non charging magnetic mount before in the same spot and it mounted quite a bit better. One last issue which is my “fault” for the way I mounted it but I feel I should mention for other users: The angle adjustment is done in two ways; there is a ball-and-socket joint which tightens with a threaded ring. It works just fine. The other adjustment is at the other end of the “arm” and it rotates fairly freely with a “clicking”/detent system holding it in place. The product photo shows it mounted horizontally (like on the top of your dashboard) and that arm would just be used to allow pointing the phone to the left or right. I think the detent system probably works fine in that intended orientation (horizontal). My use though has it mounted vertically (stuck to the side of the center console (instead of on the top of dashboard). In that case the arm/detent system has to support the weight of the phone, and it cannot. So after a few minutes driving the phone flops down to face more towards the floor. I am going to choose an angle for that and just super-glue it in place. The ball joint will still allow adjustments. That isn’t a fault of the manufacturer or designer, but I hadn’t anticipated the issue so wanted to mention it for other users who want to mount it vertically.

The ESR CAR Vent MagSafe Charger is overall a fantastic product. It’s sturdy, stable, and keeps my phone secure even on bumpy roads. The quick charging feature is excellent—charging my phone rapidly with minimal or no heating, which is perfect for long drives. I appreciate its flexibility, as it can be placed on either vent, including the passenger side, and the 360-degree rotation makes adjusting the viewing angle effortless. However, I do wish there were some metal components to reinforce the build. The plastic parts that attach to the vents are fine, but a bit of metal would ensure they don’t warp over time. Overall, it’s a solid and reliable charger with room for a little improvement in durability. Highly recommend for its performance and functionality

Hier ist meine ausführliche Bewertung basierend auf meinen Erfahrungen: Verpackung und Lieferumfang: Die Verpackung war sicher und gut durchdacht, allerdings wurde etwas viel Papier und Plastik verwendet. Im Lieferumfang war alles enthalten, wie beschrieben: MagSafe-Ladegerät, Lüftungsclip, Armaturenbrettanker, USB-C-Kabel und ein USB-C-Adapter. Der Adapter war besonders praktisch, da ich das Kabel so auch an einem bestehenden USB-Anschluss nutzen konnte. Ein Autoladeadapter war nicht im Lieferumfang, aber das war für mich kein Problem, da ich diesen bereits hatte. Installation und Montage: Ich habe die Lüftungshalterung verwendet, da sie mein Handy im Sommer kühl hält, besonders während der Navigation. Die Montage war sehr einfach und intuitiv: Schraube kurz lösen, Halterung einspannen, Schraube anziehen, und dann die Klemme an der Lüftung befestigen – ähnlich wie eine Wäscheklammer. Die Lüftungshalterung war stabil und hat durch den rutschfesten Gummi sowie eine zusätzliche Stütze einen sicheren Halt. Besonders gut: Die Stütze sorgt dafür, dass die Lüftungsöffnung selbst nicht zu stark belastet wird. Ladegeschwindigkeit und Kompatibilität: Das Schnellladen funktioniert gut, allerdings ist die Ladegeschwindigkeit bei induktiven Ladegeräten naturgemäß etwas langsamer als bei direktem Kabelanschluss. Für den Alltag reicht es jedoch vollkommen aus. Ich konnte mein iPhone 14 mit einer MagSafe-kompatiblen Hülle problemlos laden, auch auf unebenen Straßen hält der Magnet das Handy sicher. Benutzerfreundlichkeit: Der Wechsel zwischen Hoch- und Querformat ist einfach, da das Handy direkt gedreht werden kann. Die Positionierung an der Lüftungshalterung ist für die Navigation optimal, und die kabellose Ladefunktion spart Kabelsalat. Allerdings würde ich empfehlen, die Halterung nicht regelmäßig über das Gelenk zu drehen, da das Nachjustieren der Schraube etwas mühsam ist. Verarbeitung und Qualität: Das Produkt wirkt hochwertig, von den robusten Plastikkomponenten bis zur stylischen Ladefläche. Es gibt keine wackeligen Teile, und die Magnethalterung ist beeindruckend stark. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt wäre das Gewinde am Gelenk, das sich besser fixieren lassen könnte.
