CHIMANGO Chili Mango Slices (24 oz)

If you like chile mangos, but don’t want to buy an overly sugared version, chimango is for you. Don’t get me wrong, I love candied chile mangos too, but sometimes you need something different. These are spicy and sweet, with some delightful flavor undertones. All in all, pretty well balanced.

The taste of this item grew on me after a while. Made 3-4 purchases so far. However, I cannot speak for everyone. Not everyone will share the same experiences. It's natural that not everyone will share the same preferences in food taste. From my experiences so far, what I can say is that the chili taste overwhelm the mango taste unless you bite into a thick piece. Smaller pieces will results in mostly chili and sugar with little taste of mango. I have no qualm with this but many will and may get disappointed if they seek a greater mango taste. Other than that, price-wise it is pretty fair.

Very good and fresh with a good amount of heat. They did add a sugar coating that is not needed in my opinion. It seems like everything is over sugared and over salted, but these are still very tasty and go well with cervasa

I could have taken even a higher dose of heat but they are still mighty good! They are covered in a very coarse gritty seasoning that is truly authentic for these type of candies! 10/10 highly recommend! Very nice addition to the cabin pantry.

Has a nasty nutty bitter aftertaste. The bitter taste lingers in the month for a while. Too sweet. I brought this to compare to Nutty & Fruity, Chili Mango and that tasted better. It was half the price and was 30oz bag. This is not worth it.
