I was looking for a goose down duvet but of a very light weight construction. This is why I bought a 4.5 Tog rated duvet. Tog describes the ‘thermal resistance’ of the duvet as per scientific testing. I get too hot in bed quite easily. For my use this product does exactly what it says in the ad i.e. it’s thin - the same thickness as a light down jacket. Some reviewers complain it’s very thin and expected a thick duvet but clearly then they should have bought a duvet rated >10 Tog
