Spec Ops Elite Heavy Duty Tape Measure, Premium, 35' Magnetic + Fractional

Heavy duty, rugged, great reach, easy to read, fellow electricians liked, other than having a bit too much weight, it is a great tape.

I work in the roofing industry, this is a life saver. The magnetic tip sticks to all gutters/ downspouts for appropriate measurements. The durability has allowed it to slide of the roof and not get replaced.

I started using this 8 months ago at a new QC job. This tape gets used all day 5-6 days a week. It’s been very good for the abuse I put it though. It has finally started to wear out. I do long extended measurements. And now it will extend to about 10’. But over all has worked great.

I have purchased numerous of these tapes and they never last. The break or bend or don’t retract. Very expensive garbage. Several weeks ago, it came to me attention that they have a lift time warranty on this product. I spoke with someone in customer service that said they would replace my broken tape measure. It’s now several weeks later and they have ghosted me completely. Total silence. What’s a real shame is that I only purchased their product because it is supposed to be veteran owners and operated. One should be embarrassed and ashamed to f the horrific customer service and ghosting clients that are wanting to be made whole. Don’t waste your time or money support these folks, they don’t deserve it!

Really durable but it doesn't like to hold out as far as it says it does. Will start folding on itself after about 6 ft.

Very durable, extends about 11' without bending, magnet can't hold the weight of the tape itself. Reads well for marking elevations.

Initially really good, feels durable, tape had range before bending, and the magnet was strong. Fast forward a couple of months and the tape grabs when sliding back in and the magnet is just a decoration. It gets the job done alright but the magnet is probably the biggest let down, a cheap craftsmen has a stronger magnet in my opinion.

superb. I've owned half a dozen different measuring tapes in my lifetime. this is by far the best one I've ever owned, even just a few days into ownership. things that stand out from past met measuring tapes I've owned, the edges of the tape are completely blunt, no feeling of sharpness at all. extremely smooth extension and retraction, best I've experienced. The mechanism for locking the tape in place doesn't push or pull in the least bit, that pretty much every other tint measure I've owned has had a problem with. Large print is a plus for a legally blind person like myself. The double-sided nature is the first time I've experienced and I find a very helpful. this is my first purchase with this brand, I find the tactical aesthetic very pleasing. I hope this brand expands its lineup into other categories, such as tool boxes, utility belt among other categories. a long summary short, a measuring tape to rule them all.

Well-ish made except it doesn't stay uniform but twists when extended beyond 8 or 9 feet. Don't bother. There are better tape measures with reverable sides and with both imperial (SAE) and metric measurements. Klein tools does a good 7m just like that.

High end product.

Great tape measure durable easy to read. Good purchase.

exelente

Best tape I’ve used so far I like the options for fractional and magnetic tip. Very durable
