The pod creates a nice tasting cup of tea! That said, I was expecting a pure match pod and after having a cup realizing the sweet taste I looked at the ingredients. The first ingredient is sugar followed by matcha, maltodextrin and vegetable oil. Non-returnable.

I’m not exaggerating when I say this is the best matcha I’ve ever tasted! I added a scoop of the maple butter from Trader Joe’s and it was *chef’s kiss*. Highly recommend this product.

… sugar is the chief ingredient! Matcha comes in second on the list of ingredients. Tea comes out of the Nespresso “original machine” on the 40 ml espresso setting tasting creamy & fresh, but it tastes excessively sweet bringing it down one star.

I am so pleased with this product!! It's a really nice matcha flavor–not too bitter and very creamy. Perfect for making iced or hot matcha lattes at home in my Nespresso. The bonus is that its kinder to our environment, being compostable and biodegradable. Shipped quickly with no defects. Definitely will buy again!

Thank you lord for this matcha. That’s how I feel about it. I use 3 pods in my nespresso machine, with the espresso setting, then I add about 1 shot of califia barista oat milk. If I use 2 pods, just a splash of oat milk. Perfect.

Please note this has sugar in it! This should be made extremely clear when purchasing this product. No other pods like coffee or teas come with sugar already in the ingredients. While it tastes good, I would prefer they made it without sugar and allow customers to add their own!

Absolutely bad product. The cover is plastic -not foil. It doesn't pierce properly and by the time it does pop under pressure, the product is running down the sides and not in the cup. When I remove the pod, there is still a lot of matcha in the pod and resevoir. Very bad experience with this product
