Lasted 3 charging events
Not worth the trouble. Worked for three times and then no output from the power block. Returned for a refund.

CHEAPER THAN COMPUTER STORE
My son needed an extra (so we bought 2!) for school as he has already lost one. This came quickly and is perfect for home and school - cheaper than going to the computer store as well!

Works Very Well
My family has two Surface devices and the charger for the older one broke. The cable connection was kind of delicate and got loose. This item seems a little sturdier. When it comes to electronics, I'm always a little hesitant to purchase generic brands. I made sure to compare the specs and they seem to match perfectly. This is a great deal. The item arrived as picture and charged my device fine. The one main concern I have is the possibility that it might have caused some static on the screen of my newer Surface. After using it the first time, a corner of my screen got static-y/blink-y. I don't know if it was just a coincidence but, thankfully, the static went away and it hasn't happened since.

Better Than The Last One
My Surface Pro tablet has become my go-to go-with digital device. Plenty of horsepower, very convenient, and runs almost all the programs I'm used to on my desktop computer. For travel, the convenience and battery life are a significant improvement over my mobile workstation, the one needed for the rest of those "almost all" programs.I looked hard at this Surface charger solely for the accessory USB feature and the expected travel duties. A previous regular laptop charger had one, and it proved very handy while travelling. More specifically, while trapped in airplane seats for extended rides, I can keep my phone charged. It's a small thing initially but proved to be a day-saver often enough that I looked for it to support the Surface. The aftermarket charger this replaces is rated for the same 65W charging capacity. For some reason, the tablet reports that it is a slow charger when I plug it in, reminding me that I need to use a real charger if I want full rate charging. This one sets no such warnings when connected, a pleasant surprise benefit. I'd speculated that Microsoft was polling the charger and warning that the replacement wasn't genuine. This one satisfies whatever test they use.The device itself is similar in size to the one it replaces. The cord to the tablet isn't as flexible. So less subject to kinks and tangles, but maybe a little more prone to accidental disconnect in handling. The cord includes a handy little captive clip to support wrapping it around the charger, and also has a Velcro-like cable wrap for storing the cord in a separate loop. The plug-in power cord includes the cube at the outlet end that seems to be a mimic of the original charger cord. I'm not sure why Microsoft chose that plug shape in the original design. Or why the aftermarket chargers feel a need to include it. It's one more little precious-space-eater in my travel bag. Maybe it saves strain in the cord when it gets unplugged. Good News is that it can very easily be replaced with a short standard Sony-style cable if it gets to be a problem in the bag pocket. So far this is a very reasonable choice for the target travel duty. For sure it would be good as a "stationary" replacement for the original. or as a charger for a second regular location. The charger this replaces will be relegated to leisure duty, under a side table in the family room. This one is going flying.Yes, I strongly recommend this charger. It ticks all the boxes plus.

Versatile, Safe, and Efficient with Extra USB Port
The 65W Surface Pro Charger is a sleek and well-constructed power adapter designed to meet the needs of various Microsoft Surface devices. Out of the box, it has a professional look with a practical design, including a USB port for additional charging capabilities. The feel is premium, yet it seems priced to be accessible for a wide range of users.Key features include its universal AC input, a substantial 65W output, and a USB 2.0 port for additional charging convenience. It stands out for its versatility, being compatible not only with a range of Surface Pro models but also with different power requirements, adjusting from 15V 4A down to 12V 2.58A.The charger's user-friendliness is highlighted by its fast and efficient charging capability, which is essential for users on the go. The array of safety features, including protection against overcurrent, overvoltage, and short circuits, is commendable, providing peace of mind to users. In terms of performance, it meets and potentially exceeds expectations. It's designed to charge Surface devices quickly and efficiently, which it does without issue. The inclusion of a USB port allows simultaneous charging of another device, which is a significant advantage over the standard charger. When compared to the original Microsoft chargers, this product holds its own, offering similar functionality at a potentially lower cost. The compact size and lightweight nature make it ideal for travel, further enhancing its value proposition. The positive aspects are its versatility, safety features, additional USB port, and efficient charging. However, the durability of the cable and connectors would be an area to watch, as with any third-party electronic accessory. In summary, this 65W Surface Pro Charger is recommendable for Surface users looking for a reliable, efficient, and cost-effective charging solution. It's especially ideal for those who need to power multiple devices on the go and appreciate added safety features. The charger's performance, coupled with a 12-month replacement policy, offers a compelling alternative to the more expensive OEM options.
