How long would you recommend it sets before it gets exposed to extreme weather or humidity?

As soon as you put the tape down, it is good to go. just remember once you touch your stair, it will be difficult to remove. excellent glue.

Can you use it on your shoes?

This tape will stick to the bottom of your shoes. However, it is 80 grit sandpaper in tape mode. It is not something I would attach to shoes and walk with on any floor surface and not expect to strach the floor surface.

I have two ramps in my home for me and the dog to use.Would you recommend this tape for ramp?

I definitely would recommend this tape,i have used it outside on tiled stairs,which when the garden is watered can get wet.The tape has stuck wonderfully and shows no signs of wearing even though the steps are continually in use.I do not think you would have any problems with this tape.(by the way i have 6 dogs)If your dog uses the ramp also then no problems .

Can this be used on trex?

I think the adhesive quality is adequate to adhere to the Trex product. Trex usually has an uneven embossed surface which could lead to less than desirable results no matter what is applied to it.
