Anyone know if it comes with a booklet with suggestions of exercises? Or if it does not then know of name of book sold here in amazon?

With this gadget you can do some of the exercises done with pilates, and that is some..., but I have also come up with others like bending your legs backwards one at a time, the price is not so much but the exercises are great. Best thing,.. it keeps you flexible, and it can keep your tummy flat.

What is this made of?

How long is the rope from where it attaches to the doorknob, to the pulleys? How long are the ropes if laid from end to end (loops excluded)?

On mine, from the top end of the loop to the pulleys measures about 10.5 inches. Each rope, excluding loops, measures 61 inches in length. I've been very pleased with my exerciser so far -- it works just like the one I fondly remember from the early eighties.
