Whirl Vegetable Oil with Butter Flavouring for Cooking, Baking and Frying (Original, 1 x 4 Litre)

I used this as substitute for butter and my muffin taste better and buttery, moist. The container leaked in the box on arrival. When I oppened the lid, there is no seal. Overall all no big deal. Highly recommended

Bought recently and it only had one month date on it and no returns... not happy... and no seller response when I tried to return it. HOWEVER I did get a refund from Amazon so I would buy again and hope to have a good long date. ----------- old review from years ago---------- I live on a remote island and can't always get supplies. Whirl has solved my problem. I use it instead of butter or margarine on my toast - it tastes just like butter! And it doesn't break the bread when spreading. Doesn't need to be kept in the fridge. I basically put it in a tomato sauce dispenser and just squeeze it onto bread or toast. So simple! I have used it to replace butter in a cake recipe with success too. It is lower in cholesterol than butter. No longer will I buy butter or margarine. A friend of mine said she knew a Spanish doctor who used to squeeze olive oil onto his bread instead of butter because butter went off quick in Spain - this is no different really - I recommend it to all! On the back of the bottle it states there are no GM ingredients - now I'm really happy!

Brilliant product. I used to use Pura Light touch, but it is not produced any more. I hesitated because it is a 4 Litre bottle. It arrived on time, has a shelf life of 12 months and does not need to be refrigerated. I have emptied a bottle of tomato sauce, and filled it with Whirl, and put the Whirl in the shed till I need to fill the sauce bottle again. It is a really good product.

Like - it's great for all sorts or cooking and doesn't burn easily and keeps its flavour. Doesn't have to be refrigerated so can be kept handy in a cupboard where I need it. Dislike - quite salty for our taste, and set solid when stored in a cold pantry. I keep a smaller container full by my cooking prep area

So arrived in good time. A handy sturdy container. I wanted to try and use the Whirl in cakes, so I tried it in a sponge and it tasted really nice. It had that buttery flavour that you're after. However, the cake was not as fluffy as it would be had. I made it with butter. But aside from that, the taste was really nice. It was easy to work with. I haven't used it on any other products or frying with it, which I plan on doing so let's see how it is, but in the cake the buttery taste it was definitely there. Not a complete waste of money. I will definitely use it.

It smells and tastes like butter and the other thing to remember is that like butter it is easy to burn the taste That said it is fantastic for cooking your vegetables in in a shallow pan when you want them sweet and caramalised

Found this a great product for frying eggs steaks fish and for my cheese sauce ,container a bit big but found a pour jug with a lid but very happy with the product and I recommend it to a friend who loved it to
