These dog seat belts are good and easy to use. They have successfully restrained my puppy from wondering around the car when I drive. They have lasted the test of her incessantly chewing at them and now she is more than comfortable using them. They feel sturdy and made of good quality materials. We got this set for our dog Waffle and it’s made car trips so much safer and calmer. The straps are strong, easy to adjust, and the elastic bungee section gives a bit of flexibility without letting your pet move around too much. It clips right into the seatbelt slot and feels really secure. Waffle settled quickly with it and now we don’t worry about him hopping to the front or getting underfoot while driving. Up until recently our two retrievers have had freedom of movement in the back of a folded down hatchback. I've now an estate car (US: station wagon) and got a 'dog hammock' so as to protect the back seats and free-up the luggage area. So I got two of these dog seat belts to stop the dogs hurtling through the windscreen in the event of an accident and prevents them from joining my wife and I in the front seats (the doggy way of asking: 'Are we nearly there yet?'). The belts allows them to sit, stand and lay down, however, they now can't walk around and change positions with each other. Also, they have great problems in turning around, which leads to some interesting manoeuvres (US: maneuvers). The belts are easy to click into the rear seat belt receivers and then onto the dogs' harnesses (although I tend to leave the belts attached to the car, and just detach the belts from the harnesses).

I got this for my 13-lb Shih-Poo and gave one to my mom for her new puppy. It works very well at staying buckled in and maintaining safety (I like the elastic feature), as well as being easy to clip on. My only complaint is that it does not shorten very much. The shortest that you can make it is not short enough to safely have your dog in the front seat or behind one of the front seats. They need to be buckled in the center of the back or else they're too close to something in front of them (that they would hit in the event of an accident). Overall though, this is a great product if you have an antsy dog that just needs to be buckled in the back!
