Small Silver 30L Litre Galvanised Metal Bin - Rubbish Waste Dustbin / Animal Feed / Lidded Storage

Squirrels bit through heavy duty chest style plastic storage in garden to get to the seeds (also stored in plastic lidded containers) within, resulting in spoiled wet seeds and slug invasion. We put the metal bins inside the holey storage box and now the seeds are safe, dry and have not been raided.

We needed a metal container to store our bird food away from mice. This was delivered quickly, is well made and serves the purpose well.

The bin itself is fine and is exactly what I wanted. But in my application the height was critical and it is incorrectly stated on the advertised details. It is actually 37cm to the top lip of the bin and this does NOT include the lid and its handle. Hence only two stars because someone couldn't be bothered to check that the details were correct.

Perfect for what I wanted. To store bird seed in and stop the mice eating it..... however the moment I put seed in, (only half full )and picked the bin up by the handles it snapped... it still keeps the seed dry and rodent free but the handles are not that sturdy.

Perhaps a bit expensive but just the right size for the ashes from my wood burner. Seems good quality should last a while.
