The paper thickness is perfect. Love the striking colour. The book has a great firm feel to the book which makes it feel & look strong. It’s absolutely great for note taking . You can use it for any sort of note taking. Supporting our wildlife is a great notebook to have. For school, College and University. Or just in general. They look very personalised too. I found this when I was browsing the Warehouse stationery site. I had never seen these before and though pricey new, and still fairly pricey in Warehouse, I thought I would grab this one to see just how good it was.As a primary school student I had a beautiful notebook for my final year as we had to buy one ourselves to write stories in. I was gutted when, just before we left our secure school for secondary, we were told to hand all books in and all work. I objected as I had felt guilty when my mum bought the pad as it was hardback, striped and not cheap. Along with that ,all my work would be destroyed. I was told this was done every year with work been chucked into a bonfire.Anyway, I digress! The reason I was even more keen to try this notebook was because I wanted something extra-special to make up for this loss 40 years ago. I am trying to write and this may be the book for it.The cream pages are lush and thick. The cover is truly stunning - so imaginative and you could spend ages just noticing different things. It shouts elegance, style and valueI can see the Jersey west coast and see from where I am typing this so it's perfect - buy one!

Feels very well made. Has a beautiful elegant look. Paper feels good quality. I am using it to write down everything that I consume each day as a food journal of sorts to track habits / health. Overall I am very pleased and will certainly be purchasing another one of these once I’ve filled this one. I may go for the large size though as I’m already half way through.

This writing book is amazing — the paper quality is really good and smooth to write on. The pages don’t bleed through, even when using ink pens. It’s lightweight, easy to carry around, and the cover feels sturdy and well-made. Perfect for journaling, note-taking, or daily writing. I’ve been using it regularly and it still looks brand new. This is just stunning! Not flat, the surface is super detailed and looks a lot more expensive than it is. The pictures does not do it justice, its far better and I hesitate to write in it because its so beautiful. Will order more!
