Black Filler and Vent Fuel / Gas Hoses w/ 4 Clamps Compatible With 97 - 01 Jeep XJ Cherokee JXJ JXJV ,XTPTFABS

These hoses are practically identical to the old, possibly original hoses that were leaking on a 2000 Cherokee. They are just soft enough that makes them easy to push on to the tank and the fill port with very little effort. The only downside are the hose clamps. The hose clamps for the fill hose appear to be big enough to use, but the hose clamps for the breather hose were definitely on the smaller end making those clamps questionable if they would even fit after the hose is on. I just reused the old clamps as there wasn't anything wrong with them. Good buy!

I thought they were fine, but they lasted less than 2 years before they cracked and started leaking profusely when I fill up. And I run ethanol free almost exclusively which I though was supposed to be better for rubber. Now I have to find silicone ones for a 97-01

I could not imagine putting these on with the gas tank still in my 99 XJ. I dropped the tank and still broke a sweat puting it on. Dont waste your time.. pull the tank

Put these on my 2000 XJ. The hoses were a very tight fit which I guess is a good thing, just takes time to get them seated - even with a little silicone on the ends. The clamps are just junk! The 2 for the tank side were too small and were just ridiculous to get off. Head scratcher as they could have used bigger clamps. Oh well if you work on Jeeps, nothing ever goes as smooth as planned.
