Great little transformer
Used to rewire a mains voltage 5 bulb halogen light to 12v LED. For 5x 2w LED bulbs, this LED driver is perfect. Fraction of the price they were a few years ago, too Edit 19 Nov 2025: I bought another of these to replace a failed one in my bathroom GU5.3 (MR16) lights. When installed, bulbs just flashed on and off continually. This was the same with one or both bulbs installed. I returned for a replacement and the new one did the same. Ended up replacing the bulbs with new ones - old ones were installed 7-8 years ago. I guess it's not compatible with older bulbs. Just one to bear in mind if the same happens for you. Either way, driver is great.

Excellent little 12v driver for LEDs. Installed with very little hassle, and works well! The LEDs now have no flicker at all, so for the price I'm very happy!

El objetivo del cambio del transformador era instalar unas lámparas LED de luz blanca. Ha funcionado a la perfección, es pequeño, compacto y fácil de instalar.

Een gelijkspanningtransfo is echt nodig voor ledlampen, ook al staat ergens dat de lampen ook op 12V wisselspanning kunnen werken. Met wisselspanning gaan de lampen immers uiterst snel kapot.
