Now I got the new tiny gadget to activate my old VCRs to my new TV. It took me awhile to figure it out about the TV stuff and the page showing the HDMI to click, but I got it. With tax from Amazon.ca it cost me $26.44. One thing, during a long VCH video, the TV shut down. Interesting! So I stopped the VCR then later on I turned on the TV choosing the HDMI, I then continued with the VCR. You can choose anything on this list to use this converter. I was gifted a new television, a couple of years ago, but my DVD player still works just fine. Unfortunately, I needed something to connect the DVD to my new TV. This did the trick. It didn’t take too long to set up, and it works perfectly. It does require a power cord, but that’s OK. I’m just happy that my DVD player is back up and running. Sure, one day I’ll buy a new DVD player, but why ditch the one that’s worked so well for 20 years? Let me keep using it without a problem.
