Must have for ice hockey skates.
Really like the ceramic edge sharpener. It rolls the edges over and cleans up small burrs. I prefer a natural stone to the diamond one.

Really Works
Competitive skater - former junior. Have used this a couple of times in emergencies. Lost an edge when I got tangled up with a player, and stepped on the bottom iron of the net. No edge for a roughly 4-inch segment on one blad. Could hardly push off. Went to the room, used the tool as directed, and was able to get enough of an edge to finish the game.To be clear - it's not as good as a full sharpening. But it did a great job of taking me from "difficult to skate to the bench" to "able to finish the game reasonably well" in about 30 seconds.
