Just be careful with the angle of the hook blade, I put a nice scratch in my graphite shaft because I had it pointed way too far downward. Tape and new grip covered it right up, so not really worried about it. It was my first time and a learning experience. I can't imagine paying someone else to re-grip clubs after using the kit twice now. If you've watched any videos, the only thing missing from this kit would be a drip tray to capture and re-use the solvent that drips off. I used a small parts tray under the club. Hook blade - very sharp, works well, not 100% foolproof. Scraper - worked perfectly, did not damage either of the 2 shafts I've used it on so far. Tape - easy to apply, seems to be holding the new grips nicely. Vice grip insert - worked perfectly with a small clamp vise on my desk. Solvent/mineral spirits - large bottle, seems like it will last a long time. Spray top has a safety on it. Microfiber cloth - just a nice little extra. decent microfiber. I think when the tapes run out, I'll order the dispenser and the roll.

Great complete kit to change your own grips! This was the first time I've ever changed my own and was able to successfully remove my old grips and install new grips on 10 of my clubs. The supplied tape seems to be sized perfectly, and the included solvent and spray bottle makes it easy to ensure you've got all of the tape and insides of the grips covered. Solvent is also good for softening and removing your old grip tape. I did also use rubbing alcohol (not included) on the shafts after removing the old tape to ensure all residue was removed, before applying new tape. Took about 10-15 minutes per club to remove and install new grips. I'd also recommend a portable vice clamp, if you don't already have one, as it makes holding the club in place much easier. This kit worked wonderfully. A few weeks after installing my grips and not a single issue. Just follow instructions and take your time. The scraping tool is nothing to write home about but the rest is great. The spray applicator is also easy to use and saves you from overusing the solution.

supplies all the items one needs to change grips on golf clubs. good amount of solution, the vice grip attachment works well, and the hand chisel is very effective at removing stubborn tape. Very good price for what one gets. I never put on grips before and did a youtube tutorial and had all the tools to get it done safely. Highly recommend.

Great kit for getting started re-gripping your own clubs.

It seems to get the job done but i'm knocking a few stars for a few things. My major issue is the spritzer does not work properly, maybe i got a bad one but before i could spray, the liquid just leaks all over the place and the spray is not consistent at all. I tried several times to unscrew and fasten it thinking i did it wrong but it kept leaking regardless. I noticed that even applying a lot of solvent on the grip tape, by the time i get the grip pushed in almost all the way through, some sludge formed which comes out at the end. This is new to me as I have never experienced this with my previous grip solvent and tape from another brand. The tape remover tool seems to work fine and this was missing from my first kit. I think overall this gets the job done, but hopefully the do a better job with QA the sprayer, as i have lost a lot of solvent before applying it.

Good product and quick delivery. Unfortunately the solvent had leaked but not too much so could regrip all my clubs.
